I too, was convinced Mrs reed was a victim of foul play
It has shown me how wrong I can be!!!

I will try to keep a very open mind on any case I follow because this one proved that things are not always as they appear

If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck... well, its not always a duck :blushing:

 As you say, it has shown me how wrong I can be, and that things are not always as they appear.

As far as Robyn's case, in my heart I believed she was a victim. Now I have learned I have to keep my mind more open to other possibilities. There is always that slight chance as we had theorized earlier, that she could have gone along with a plan to disappear for the insurance money.

I really hate having to think this way, but sadly, it is a fact that people do things like this all the time for money. Not saying that Robyn is not a victim, just that there's no way to know for sure.

Whatever happened, I do still believe that GG knows the truth and was involved first hand, especially since he was the one with the insurance policy. JMHO of course.

I completely agree, he knows the truth and he is involved... just not sure what the truth is

He may have the insurance policy, but he doesn't have the insurance payout and I don't believe he ever will

Money is a huge motivator

None of this worked out as planned, regardless of what the plan was

So if, big if, it was a plan between the two of them, I'm curious what the fall back plan was if the insurance scam fell through.

I'm thinking Robyn would have had more reason to disappear than just a questionable insurance pay out.

Is being a mail order bride a possibility? I believe it was Blueskies that knew of a guy in Robyn's town that is in the Russian mail order bride business. Can't use his name here as there's no proof. I did find he was involved with some state legislation involving dating web sites though. He also has a website in Russian and has Russian friends who are involved in the modeling business.

I think anything is a possibility
But you know, a neighbour of mine, older older older, married a Russian woman, much much much younger. Its legal

If Robin wanted to do that, she didn't have to disappear
IF BIG IF she is involved I think it was all about the insurance

True. Just thinking she might have been trying to kill two birds with one stone so to speak. And/or maybe GG was instrumental somehow in setting her up with someone, and she went along with the insurance plan as just a part of it.

Also, I would question how she (or anyone) could really trust GG to fork over her share of the insurance money.:waitasec:

I have always questioned how anyone could fake their own disappearance and be certain they would never be discovered. Many get caught, as in Mrs. Reed's case. Best chances I would think would be to go to another country and never return to the U.S., i.e., in this case.

I don't understand how she could plan a trip with the man, but it seems he wasn't as digusting to her as he appears to us

Why did she go?
No matter how badly i wanted a vacation, I would not spend it with someone I wasn't fond of
It was a get away for her but the price was extravagant, even if nothing bad had happened
You may have an evening with a man once in awhile but its completely different to spend four or five days in the same hotel room with him

There are still so many things that don't make sense

Personally, I would not mind if someone took it upon themselves to do a little water-boarding on Gary Giordano. I'm pretty sure that might get the truth out of him, as I am one of those who firmly believes he knows everything about what happened to Robyn and where she is. The one thing he did not know... that Aruba would keep him imprisoned for 4 months. That, I'm quite sure, was a complete and total surprise to the thing, psychopath GG. :D Quite a change for the big scary man exploiter / abuser of women.

And I so hope he reads here once in a while. Hey, we at least have the pleasure of always remembering what a big cry baby he was when he was being held in Aruba? :boohoo:. There is one thing I would like the creep to know: that whenever I or my cohorts are in his neck of the woods, we will always be keeping our eye out for him. With cameras on the ready. He can always feel watched. Always. :websleuther:

In the end, maybe the best we can hope for is that this creep will be haunted by nightmares of his time spent in Aruban prison.... every night for the rest of his life. :ghost: :ghost: :ghost:

What would really be interesting is if GG purchased previous life insurance travel policies on other women he traveled with WITHOUT their knowledge. American Express could already have that information if he has done so in the past. The fact that they may not have known the policies were purchased would be very damning for him should he still continue to pursue his claim. jmo

More than a year after he returned to the U.S. a free man, Aruba murder suspect Gary Giordano has been accused of emotionally tormenting the family of his late stepmother, it was revealed today.

Paula Rockwell, whose mother was married to Giordano’s father before they both died last year, told RadarOnline: 'Gary has no conscience. All we want is what belongs to my mother, but he’s acting like a monster.

Rockwell is referring to the will of her mother Diana Sandahl, 66, who married Giordano's father Frank, 80, after 13 years together when he was severely ill with cancer.
When he died in October, Diana died soon after leaving the will in the hands of Giordano.

'It is a mess,' she told RadarOnline. 'Gary is somehow the personal representative for his father’s will and he won’t give us our mother’s things – we’re talking furniture, clothing, picture.

She said her late mother believed the former murder suspect was in fact involved in Robyn's disappearance but still went on the Today show to support him.

[Diana] knew he was guilty but she still went on the Today show supporting Frank and we didn’t talk for awhile. She was scared to death of Gary.

'He would call her in the middle of the night yelling and screaming at her. I told her she was putting herself in a bad position when she did the interview.'

“It is stated in the will that my mother paid for the furniture and that everything in the garage is hers. She died penniless but we want the memories.”

Instead of respecting those keepsakes, Giordano allegedly dumped them all out in his driveway in the pouring rain when Paula’s brother, Bill Egbert, recently went over to pick them up.

The aggressive attitude is typical of what Diana endured from her step-son when she was alive, claims Paula.

Now neither Frank nor Diana can find peace even in death, as Gary hasn’t even bothered to make funeral arrangements three months later.

“He won’t even talk to us about how he’s going to bury his father and he hasn’t picked up the ashes,” said Rockwell.

We can’t bury our mother without knowing that because it was their wish to be together in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Illinois.”

Keep in mind that she was on model mayhem, which is a website for aspiring models and actresses. Many of them assume that skimpy clothing is part of the job. She had a lot of surgery to augment her body - her commodity.

She may have been thinking in a more opportunistic way, where she accepted that she was already sleeping with the guy, so why not enjoy a few days at the beaches and bars in Aruba on his dime.

Here's where she supposedly went into the water:

Here he is looking puzzled about how he made it back, she didn't and she wasn't washing ashore.

His girlfriend just vanished, and he seems to be smiling.

It has now been two years since Robyn disappeared. I find it sad that there's virtually nothing in the media on her case. I did come across this news report, though unfortunately nothing new.

i just came across this article from WTOP:

On the two-year anniversary of the disappearance of Robyn Gardner, of Frederick, Md., prosecutors in Aruba tell WTOP they still believe Gary Giordano of Gaithersburg, Md., kidnapped and murdered his traveling partner.

"The case is still open, and we accuse him of murder, kidnapping, and fraud," says Ann Angela, a spokesperson for the Aruban prosecutor's office.

Giordano's attorney Steven Kupferberg, tells WTOP, "Gary authorized me to say he has no comment" about prosecutors' allegations or the anniversary of Gardner's disappearance.

Too me somehow and this goes for holloway also but to me without anyone knowing they had to of gotten a boat to dump the bodies not far far out but further then the searchers were gonna look. It woulda been a small boat for no one to notice and he dumped her out somewhere . And to be honest anywhere by those reefs come night time the sharks feed over there like crazy I just don't see any other possible way .I think if she were burried somewhere or down a well or mindshaft she woulda been found by now someone woulda stummbled across her remains and like i said i believe this is the same for holloway they take them out far enough exspecially by a reef and the sharks would feed like mad doesn't sound to nice but its what i think happend ..
