In Florida, a true understanding of the truth requires full disclosure, in Tennessee it means minimal disclosure ... different state, different interpretation of the constitution and law. In Kansas, people are entitled to see their birth certificate, in Missouri, they can't ... US justice is all over the planet ... from eye for an eye to compassion, from facts to perceptions ... it's absurd.

I was talking about his stories in general, not about a court of law. lol Truth is what actually happened and his version keeps changing from what we know. If people from Missouri can't see their birth certificate how do they get passports??? That sounds odd.

I find it interesting that JB would not let KC talk but you can't shut GG up and he's running the circuit. How is JB representing GG, giving him legal advice when he's not licensed in the State of Maryland????? jmo

We have the U.S. constitution. We have States rights. Both equally important. Both a very integral and important part and our country. Each state has the right to determine certain laws and punishment. That is part of being America. I guess I'm not sure what your implication is.

And added to that is the fact that if you do not feel you have gotten a fair trial or verdict in your own state you can appeal to the Federal Court. jmo

I think it is very interesting that GG claims to have had an Aruban attorney by the following day. He claims his Aruban attorney advised him to call the insurance company and now claims the attorney was only after 1/3 of the money. Somehow I find that bizzare. You call an attorney and he wants to know how much travel insurance you took out on the person and you better call it in.....oh, and by-the-way what did you say happened???? This is just another statement out of his mouth that makes no sense. If a loved one of mine were missing the last thing I'd be thinking about is money....."let's hurry up and call this in or they may not pay off on the policy." And this was his main concern???

Another statement that makes no sense is what is reported by Robyn's mother that GG told her he "got his sneakers wet searching for your daughter".............. I thought he said he wore them into the water while he was snorkeling???? Was this another slip of the tongue.

You know how you put on a snorkel mask and when you get out of the water not only is your hair wet it's a mess from the mask unless GG took time to stop by the car grab a comb and comb his hair because in the video his hair looks perfectly groomed in terms of not at all disturbed as you would expect to see with someone who had been in the water for over an hour. He claims after getting out of the water he ran 100 yards and his suit is not dripping and appears to have dried already. No wet foot prints appear on the tiles in the video???? jmo

I agree, she was aware of who he was
I don't feel she felt she was in great danger from him
She had been seeing him off and on for over a year

regarless of how she may have lived her life, regardless of the choices she made, nobody deserves to be be murdered, if that is what happened JMO

the insurance may not be the only reason he changed his tune about not drinking any alcohol--either he or jose realized that if she was drinking and taking sleeping pills (he earlier said she had one during that day to account for the wooziness the barworkers saw at dinner) then it would be INCREDIBLY incriminating to suggest he took an impaired person snorkeling or around water at all. actually, i think that's exactly what happened. got her all drunk and pilled up (went out to car with cup to crush up sleeping pills and stir into drink) and took her out to the rocky beach, and the rest is history. if she were bleeding (knife? smashed head on a rock? *shudder*) a shark could have been attracked rather quickly and taken care of the disposal. i believe a local stated that the area behind the restaurant was notorious for sharks as that is where they would throw away their rotting/discarded scraps. it was to discourage sharks from visiting the more "tourist-y" pretty beaches up the shore. i will have to look long and hard for where i read that. i think GG isn't as clueless about Aruba as people think. i would bet anything he has a friend who either lives on the island or frequently visits there (he said last night on Dateline they met up with another couple who suggested Baby Beach) who could have helped plan this from the get-go.

The prosecutor said he can see no explaination for her disappearance other than murder. He believes if she had drowned her body would have come to shore. He also said he doesn't think it was planned beforehand for money. I don't know exactly why, he didn't get around to explaining himself there. I wish they had brought up the texts and fb messages Robyn had sent to RF. Don't know why they didn't except for maybe JB wouldn't let them.

Years ago before it was so "tourist-y" I was told they disposed of meat bones and butcher garbage on the eastern coastal portion of the island where the water is deeper. They stopped this practice because sometimes the bones come ashore. Like the pork leg bone that was found a few years ago on the beach which someone thought belonged to NH. My guess is they bring that garbage out further away from the island and dump it so it won't wash back onto the island. It would not be uncommon, and it's more likely than not, that one or more of her bones will eventually wash up on the beach.

In GG statement to GMA he claims there was a sudden storm and yet the Aruban authorities claim that is not true, there was no storm out at sea. You can see 15 miles away across that water in any direction and if there were a storm out there he would have had plenty of time to notice it and get back to shore safely. But since the waters were calm and there was little wind the "storm" story appears to be another crash and burn alibi. Keep talking GG I'm sure someone is taking down notes. jmo

Look at how far he had to walk to get to that bar. His feet would no longer be leaving wet footprints. If you've spent much time at the beach, then you know how quickly you dry off on a hot sunny day.

Jenna, have you ever actually gone snorkeling in tennis shoes and socks? Tennis shoes would not dry out in the hottest of situations, with wet socks, and only walking a football field. No way.

Saw the dateline show last night. New to this case, catching up, so bear with me..
Immediate questions:

When asked about the remoteness of the beach, he said it wasn't that remote because there was a shop a 100 yards away (paraphrasing) - so my question is wouldn't that have been the first place he should have gone to for help?

Also in answer to the question about the remoteness of the place and why with all the beaches along the way, why the one he picked that so remote... He said it was recommended by a couple they talked to at the hotel.... I wonder, has any attempt been made to locate that couple?

Also wonder - any record of RG purchasing snorkel/swimming gear?

When asked about her going into the ocean and ruining her hair extensions, he mentioned she was in the hotel pool the night before... Any surveillance or witnesses of that - I can picture a gal in a pool such that she simply stands in it without getting her hair wet...

Not socks, but yes, I snorkel in tennis shoes.

It would be an interesting experiment. Go soak the shoes in the beach, walk that distance in the heat of the beach air and sand, and then walk across a cement patio.

I'm picturing a swimming pool, even. Kids get out, and walk to the towel area and they are no longer leaving footprints by the time they walk that 30 feet to their towels.

To me, I can't tell at all whether he's wet or not. But surely the woman who called first responders for him would have noticed.
