If you don't see it I don't know if anything I say can change your mind. You seem pretty certain he is innocent even though he has had two restraining orders, has tried to strangle a woman, took out a 1.5 mil policy on RG, begged anyone who would go with him to go to Aruba even though he's BROKE, has been caught lieing several times, wasn't even wet when he supposedly swam for his life, had his wig on when snorkeling, had his tennis shoes on too, begged a mother/daughter duo to go with him. Has absolutely no respect for women at all. I'm sure I can think of more if I tried.

:sigh:You are probably right MaryAnn. Although I am not "pretty certain" he is innocent, what I am is willing to weigh both sides of an issue in an attempt to come to a "reasonable scenario", and no I will not just say everything he says or does points to his "guilt". Wish I could find that "THUD" icon, LOL.
It would be perfect.....how bout this one:needdrink:

@ Neesaki and Lambchop,

As far as I know Giordano allegedly told ALE Robyn to a sleeping pill, that info came from ABC at some point. IMO

I have never read about Giordano reveiling to the RumReef waiter that Robyn had taken a sleepingpill, if so please show me where this was ever mentioned.

Hi Nova,

Just wondering why it would take the FBI so long for the handwriting analysis to be completed, and if they found it was forged, why might they not release that info? Wouldn't that have been evidence enough to continue to hold GG over in Aruba?

I'm not sure and I'm not a lawyer.

But I noticed in the case of the honeymooning bride who died while scuba diving in Australia, the groom was only convicted of manslaughter in Australia, where he served a short prison sentence. He's now awaiting trial for 1st (or 2nd, I forget) degree murder in Alabama, where he bought the insurance policy he had on her. The difference is that the fraud was perpetrated in Alabama with the purchase of the policy (and, I assume, an attempt to collect on it).

Assuming the FBI has evidence of a forgery, maybe they chose not to share that info with Aruba, preferring to wait for GG's return to eventually face a greater charge here in the States.

Unless otherwise identified, all of the above is pure speculation. I can't even call it an opinion.

I think the horse is dead so no need to beat it, for sure. lol

The motive is he is the only person who stands to gain by her death. That is the motive. The inconsistencies in his story leads one to believe RG did not die accidentally from drowning on her own as he claims. He's a scary man. jmo

BOO HOO! He's dead???:sigh: How Sad!!:seeya:

Court records and former romantic interests reveal Giordano could by turns be charming and threatening.
"He can't control his anger," his first wife, Sharon Cohen, wrote in court papers in 2001.

"Jeanette Farago, a former neighbor, started dating Giordano around the time of his second divorce. ... Once, he wanted to take her on a cruise but became irate when she didn't want to go, she said."

GG was in serious financial trouble. I think he needed to do something drastic. That is just my opinion, but I think he set this up, hoping it would work out. imoo

What makes you think he is not innocent?

Thanks! I didn't know about his $5mil scam. Wow, is all I can say... If he had any decency he would selll his house to get out of debt and not scam and murder people for the money.

Robyn decided not to go on that cruise the day of departure according to Forester.

He said goodbye to her in the morning, and while thinking she had went on a cruise (which he was not OK with) that evening, she suddenly came to his apartment and said that she had changed her mind. (see one of the Forester interviews)

I do not know what messages Giordano send her, but I think many people would be upset if a friend would cancel a trip when it was being payed for and arranged for of the day of departure or just hours before departure.
That is not a nice thing to do in general. IMO

He couldn't have been too upset because he paid for her trip to Aruba. Or he was upset and decided to get his money back for her canceling, plus some....

Who knows why she cancelled? She may have had a good reason as he is not the easiest person to get along with. Maybe she was afraid he'd throw her overboard or he threatened to if she did not do as he asked. I seem to remember one of the women saying he threatened her. We just don't know, only info we have is from others who have had experiences with him in the past. jmo

What DOES he do for a living? He told a mother that he would support her and her daughter for the rest of their lives if she and the daughter would sleep with him.... and we all know how short that life would probably have been, so, no sweat off his scary arcenio hall.

Any idea how he makes his money?

Gary asked Robyn to go to Aruba, but he didn't pay for her trip. He said in an interview he used Marriott reward points for the room, and told Robyn she had to pay her plane fare.

Gary Giordano Breaks His Silence

Snip from video interview:

Gary Giordano - "I've got 675,000 points with Marriott, so the vacation was free. So then I went further to say, Robyn, I want you to pay for your airfare, you know, because if you don't show, you know, Robyn's the kind of girl that if she talked to you, you and you, and we all said we want to take you out on a Friday night, she'll wait until Friday night to pick what venue she wanted to really go on. I knew at the last minute she could back out."

She must have paid him for the ticket because how else could he get the insurance on her????

Sorry, I'm slow, what is your point?

I posted what I heard about that trip.

CJ said Giordano was furious when Robyn decided not to go on a cruise with him, I found that a strange reaction of Giordano (after all he knew she had a boyfriend etc. and anyone can change their mind regarding a trip).

When Forester said Robyn decided not to go the day of departure hours before departure, that was a different story then that of CJ, I do think people in general would be disappointed/mad when a friend would cancel a trip so last minute.

If she paid for her own ticket why did he take out insurance on her??? When he was explaining how he fills out the travel insurance forms didn't he say the insurance comes for both of them when he pays? I could be mistaken but I thought that was what he said or something to that affect? jmo
