What DOES he do for a living? He told a mother that he would support her and her daughter for the rest of their lives if she and the daughter would sleep with him.... and we all know how short that life would probably have been, so, no sweat off his scary arcenio hall.

Any idea how he makes his money?

Really? He said he would support them for the rest of their lives??? I never heard that before.

He really is a sick puppy, isn't he? Makes you think Taco Stein knew what he was saying when he called GG a "mean ********". jmo

Gary Giordano was in serious financial trouble and tried to scam a company out of $5 million in the months leading up to his Aruba vacation with Robyn Gardner, according to an attorney who faced him in court.

Gary Giordano, Man Held In Disappearance Of Missing Tourist Robyn Gardner, Had Troubled Past With Women
Court records and former romantic interests reveal Giordano could by turns be charming and threatening.
"He can't control his anger," his first wife, Sharon Cohen, wrote in court papers in 2001.

"Jeanette Farago, a former neighbor, started dating Giordano around the time of his second divorce. ... Once, he wanted to take her on a cruise but became irate when she didn't want to go, she said."

GG was in serious financial trouble. I think he needed to do something drastic. That is just my opinion, but I think he set this up, hoping it would work out. imoo

He certainly looks suspect at the very least. Having the type of past has does not helped his claim that it was an accidential drowning, when she purchased her own ticket, then he took out insurance on her and she "conveniently" is missing and presumed dead.

Most scam artist are very convincing when they talk their talk. I admit if he could have gotten his facts straight he might convince a lot of people it happened the way he claims. It's just that the story keeps changing too much and does not make sense. "Major inconsistencies" in his story is how the ALE put it as the reason for his arrest. jmo

She purchased her own ticket...... says Gary

I would not believe this unless they can show a credit card receipt in her name

Hard to consider most of what he says is a lie, and yet, believe this without proof

He does have big credibility issues. lol

It would be weird that he asked her to pay for her own airplane ticket imo. Because for a short trip like that, isn't the plane ticket the biggest cost? You can get 3 nights at hotel pretty cheap. And he was pouring their drinks from a bottle of vodka in the car, so that surely cuts down on costs. And look at the beach he chose for them to visit the last 2 dys of the trip. Hardly the nicest one on the island. Very few amenities and no witnesses.

If she paid for her own airfare, then he barely even took her on this trip.

Oh rats, I lost my post. Let me try this again. lol

Yes, they were traveling rather cheaply. Flights are expensive up in the $700 range now. Nothing wrong with a friend asking you to pay for your own ticket. The creepy part is he took out traveling insurance on the both of them when he did not buy the ticket. He claims he could not disselect but why add her in the first place if she paid for her own ticket. Added to that the life insurance portion is extra so he did not have to include her.

GG listed her as a partner which would indicate to the agent that she was a livein (at least someone significant in your life) and a loss of her life would impact his household so he had a personal interest in her welfare. This is not true. He has no presumption of loss. Her death in no way effected his household income. This is why we take out insurance on loved ones, specifically to cover the cost of our loss.....not to make a hefty profit. jmo

Thanks LampChop! Holy smoke I didn't know she bought her own ticket. That's really sad.

Evidently that is what he said. Whether or not it is true or not I don't know. I bet her mother would know from her bank statements. jmo

If she paid for her own ticket why did he take out insurance on her??? When he was explaining how he fills out the travel insurance forms didn't he say the insurance comes for both of them when he pays? I could be mistaken but I thought that was what he said or something to that affect? jmo

That is strange. Maybe Robyn gave GG the cash and he put them on his credit card. Even more NERVE to elect himself as beneficiary when he didn't even pay for the ticket. GG is a major scammer!

How does one assume he is telling the truth about paying for this ticket, when it seems everything else he says is in doubt

Well, if he did tell the truth you can bet it was already discovered by someone and mentioned to him he should disclose it. If she backed out before I could see him asking her to pay, it would make sense. jmo

Robyn decided not to go on that cruise the day of departure according to Forester.

He said goodbye to her in the morning, and while thinking she had went on a cruise (which he was not OK with) that evening, she suddenly came to his apartment and said that she had changed her mind. (see one of the Forester interviews)

I do not know what messages Giordano send her, but I think many people would be upset if a friend would cancel a trip when it was being payed for and arranged for of the day of departure or just hours before departure.
That is not a nice thing to do in general. IMO

You're right. It's not a nice thing to do in backing out of a cruise at the last minute. However, I wonder what made Robyn change her mind so suddenly?

Since we know Giordano admittedly took out insurance for his travel companions and cancellation insurance was part of it, Robyn's backing out shouldn't have cost him any money. Perhaps he was more upset Robyn interfered with his plan for her. The same plan he carried out this time...JMO

Snip of interview with Nancy Grace and Carrie Emerson.

<snip>

GRACE: Well, when did he finally break down and ask to have sex with you?

EMERSON: Right after I told him that, you know, that she`s not going, he says, well, I`ll make you a deal, if you let - if you go with us, and you sleep with me, he says, I`ll take care of you financially. I said, OK, you got to be kidding. I said, I`ll go you one better. He says, if you both go, and you both sleep with me, he says I`ve always had a mother/daughter fantasy, he said, if you both sleep with me, I`ll take care you`ve financially the rest of your life.

Looks like RF is calling out GG and JB on Facebook (I'd paste the text here, but it is somewhat nasty).

I hope it causes his desired effect of keeping media attention on this case.

Some comments show he's been seen shopping at the same supermarket I go to. I just hope I don't bump into him.

This is great! I hope Richard keeps the heat on GG. He cannot get away with this!! If he does, every Man who wants to get rid of their wife/gf will be going to Aruba.

Thanks for the transcripts Sapphire. I still remembered most of the call between Nancy and the Mother/Daughter duo. GG is beyond creepy and a pervert to say the least.

One woman claims he videotaped himself beating her during sex in his bedroom. There are - there is a string of seven women with the same complaints.

Bottom line, Taylor and Carrie didn't take Robyn to Aruba GG did. Robyn went missing on GG's watch. What about the other dozen women that have come forward stating they had to get restraining orders, etc etc on GG? Even if Taylor was dressed inappropriately on the website, why is a grown older Man looking for someone so young to take with him on a vacation?

look, he is a very unlikeable man IMO
looking for a girl of fourteen who presents herself as eighteen makes him no more likeable

I am posting what i read
you can decide what to believe and what not to believe

I am trying to look at facts and keep the rumors in a little place of their own until proven

I like to look at all sides, not just my side

It is hard for me to believe that she would have paid for the ticket since she had just been laid off from her job, and was worried about $. I got the impression that she went because it was a free vacation and she was stressed
out.
