It looks like quite a mixed crowd that attended the party

Well, mixed maybe, but he looks to be the oldest one in this photo. JMO

Just seems weird. She looks very high maintenance, not the type that would wear the same thing twice - two days in a row. I have no idea whether she would or not, just an observation, and I keep thinking about the ambien on the table by the bed and if it was set up.

Your right about the ambien on the table by the bed. Water is in the bathroom and most women keep their makeup case in the bathroom while on vacation so my meds are usually in the case. Same routine, brush your teeth, take the meds. Easier to remember that way. It is possible they were on the nightstand but I'd be worried about them disappearing. Some people put their meds in the safe. If the ambien was that important to take on vacation I doubt she would just leave it lay around. jmo

Thanks. Good to know. So we can assume that Robyn did not go to a swingers club or a private home while in Aruba; that she did return to her hotel after the party.

I'm not assuming anything. There's no proof, that I'm aware of, what they did once they left the beach party. Hotel cameras would have footage - so LE probably knows. Until they share it ... nothing's for certain.

Swinging is a lifestyle that is legal and more prevalent than one might think. Some couples get kinky in private, some couples share their kinky tastes. I could care less -- if it doesn't involve children, it's none of my business and my scenario is NOT a judgment. There was a rumor they belonged to a swingers site, if true, there's a possibility they hooked up after the beach party and never made it back to the hotel. There's also the possibility they didn't.

I don't think she would go partying, drink, go back to the room, wash her dress out and wear it again the next day. I also can't imagine someone like Robyn Gardner would carry only a backpack on the plane for a three day trip to Aruba. Her make-up and hair product alone would fill up a backpack. Maybe they never went back to the room. Why? No clue, maybe they went to a swingers club and then to someone's house. If true, they would not have gone to the room where the ambien were on the night table.

Am I the only one that's found this odd?

Back in one of the earlier threads the dress issue had come up, and there are pics of Robyn in two different dresses, though similar in color, design, and style. So maybe she had two different but similar dresses with her on the trip, though we don't know for sure.

Exactly LC - after years of not enjoying my daytime life due to insomnia, my ambien are like gold to me. I would never leave them on a nightstand for the housekeepers to find. Besides, like you said, most of us have a routine and your routine is like mine. Wash my face, brush my teeth, take my singulair and ambien, tuck them back into a make-up bag and turn out the light :).

The other thing is, they were obviously drinking and partying the night before - there is NO way I would take an ambien after a night of drinking - mostly because drinking makes them dangerous to take....anyone who has a prescription for them knows this.

Well that would 'splain it and I could get off the dress lol

True ... we haven't heard anything about Robyn going to a swinger's club and visiting locals after the party. It's easy to imagine all sorts of things that could have happened, but without any facts to support those things, it seems simplest to stay with the facts.

Here is the link stating that GG had his own snorkel equipment. It the same link that I posted upthread in post #686.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Hi, Nancy. Thank you for taking my call. My question is, did the boyfriend have any snorkeling equipment, or -- wouldn`t there be evidence that he went snorkeling?

GRACE: Good question. To Martin Savidge, CNN correspondent, joining us live in Aruba. What do we know, Martin?

SAVIDGE: Well, authorities here say that he had his own personal snorkeling gear, and that -- they`ve confirmed he didn`t have to rent it on the island. Apparently, he travels with it, brings it with him. And that they know. They have not found any snorkeling gear related to Robyn Gardner.

Again, wonder where Robyn got her snorkeling gear.

GG brought the snorkelling gear or they only had one set. If she had a set and she drowned, hers is probably on the bottom of the ocean with her.

I think snorkeling gear floats. And if she was having trouble in the water she would have thrown it off quickly and easily. I don't think many people drown while still wearing their snorkeling mask. It is very loose fitting, and comes off easily. I think one of the reasons that the searchers did not believe him was because they did not find any of her equipment in the water.

"Gear" would imply fins, a face mask, and a snorkel. Does one wear tennis shoes with fins?

So you think she's at the bottom of the ocean?

I'm wondering how easy it would be for her to throw off her snorkelling gear in the water with all her hair extensions .. wouldn't it get caught in her hair and increase the panic reaction?

Like the investigators, I have no idea where she is. She could be in one of the mine shafts, or she could be in the water.

I think we can rule out the possibility that she was wearing tennis shoes.

Fact is, she wore the same dress two days in a row on vacation in Aruba - I blew up the pictures and it's exactly the same - very weird. They went to the same restaurant two days in a row and walked on the beach the first day. Now I'm thinking GG told her he loved the dress and asked her to wear it again - was he practicing how he would go about the murder on the first day? The dress would have been simple to take off of her - unlike shorts, a shirt, and a bra, which she was obviously not wearing.

Again, speculation on my part....but there's more to the dress.

If Robyn did not drown, then GG did some careful planning and staging ... who would think to keep the dress after a spontaneous or accidental murder and then leave it on the beach to back up the snorkelling story?

Right! Who indeed!

Actually, the mask shouldn't be loose fitting, it should be snug enough not to allow water in.

I don't think they found any of her equipment because a) she didn't have any - b) they never went snorkeling

I just found on radar.com, that the video from the restaurant shows her in the same dress at around 4:00 PM, the day before she disappeared, and again when they were leaving the restaurant the day she disappeared, at around 4:00 PM.

Her family recognized the dress as one of her favorites.

You're right, I couldn't remember so I went back and checked on the earlier thread, and this is the same conclusion that was reached then. Thanks :)
