On what planet do the authorities allow their "prime suspect" to leave the country?? I agree with whomever said they are watching and waiting. I can't wrap my head around any other explanation.

You're right, I couldn't remember so I went back and checked on the earlier thread, and this is the same conclusion that was reached then. Thanks :)

Did they find the dress on the beach? TIA!

How do we rule out the possibility that she was wearing tennis shoes??

Looking at photos and video footage is how I know that she wasn't wearing tennis shoes with her dress.

I just found on radar.com, that the video from the restaurant shows her in the same dress at around 4:00 PM, the day before she disappeared, and again when they were leaving the restaurant the day she disappeared, at around 4:00 PM.

Her family recognized the dress as one of her favorites.

Can you see what she's wearing on her feet in that video?

I think that in most countries, when there is not enough evidence to prosecute, a suspect is released. Amanda Knox is a good example of that. The evidence was put in question during appeal and she was released ... free to return to her own country. If new evidence emerges, then there are options available for Aruba ... unless there's something in US law about not extradicting people to countries where they face murder charges.

Fact is, she wore the same dress two days in a row on vacation in Aruba - I blew up the pictures and it's exactly the same - very weird. They went to the same restaurant two days in a row and walked on the beach the first day. Now I'm thinking GG told her he loved the dress and asked her to wear it again - was he practicing how he would go about the murder on the first day? The dress would have been simple to take off of her - unlike shorts, a shirt, and a bra, which she was obviously not wearing.

Again, speculation on my part....but there's more to the dress.

Maybe he asked her to wear it again to create confusion among witnesses that might have seen her on either of those two days. Same places, same dress, similar times... It does sound like a practice run.

Amanda's murder conviction was overturned and she was found not guilty on appeal - she was arrested within four days of the murder and sat in jail until her trial.
Mexico tried not to allow their "prime suspect" leave the country - look at Bruce Beresford-Redman, the Survivor Producer. He left anyway

I think GG said RG went into the water barefoot. It would be interesting to know if LE found two sets of fins??? If he was in the water at that location he had sneakers on because he could not walk in the water without them, too many rocks. Also getting in at that location means you have to walk over jagged coral type rocks. You would cut your feet to shreds. I think he originally planned to go out further and swim back in yelling so he appeared to be in a panic but was unable to walk out far enough to get the rest of himself wet.

If he disposed of her in another remote location it would be easy to tell her he was going to take pictures of her and to get her to take her shoes and dress off. LE took his camera so I wonder if he deleted pictures of her he took at another location and could they be restored?

What is left of the gold mines is a tourist attraction. They aren't shafts they are more like tunnels you can walk into so if she were there someone would have found her by now. Plus they are not out in the open you really have to know where you are going and it would take some time to drive there. He did not have enough time as the gold mine area is closer to the northeastern side of the coast. jmo

The dress question has come up several times
I find it quite odd

The link about finding the dress has been posted twice
Once early on and once about a week ago to answer the question about where the dress was found
Someone suggested that had only seen it on FB, the link was a MSM report stating a witness saw it on the beach a distance from the twoels

The first day they went , as far as I know, they spent most of their time at the little bar/cantina and ate and drank. So maybe she had no problem going back there again. And he was the host, and the driver, and the older male, so I think she went with the flow. Especially if she did take a few swigs of vodka beforehand. When someone invites you on a vacation, as their guest, you tend to follow their lead.

I think the real question remains, WHY did he choose this as their destination. imoo

Are you talking about the the rum Reef or whateverit its called?
The first day they went there, (caught on video) the bars and restaurant was closed

Just seems weird. She looks very high maintenance, not the type that would wear the same thing twice - two days in a row. I have no idea whether she would or not, just an observation, and I keep thinking about the ambien on the table by the bed and if it was set up.

Its rather difficult to travel from where I live with just a carry on if you use cosmetics as no liguids of any sizee can be placed in a carry on

So, no I don't buy the carryon , no space for a different dress scenario

Link about the dress and towels. Around the 2:15 time on video. Video also shows the rugged and rough beach area where Giordano claims they went snorkeling. IMO, it would be impossible to snorkel in that area. I don't believe Robyn was ever in the water at that location.

You can bring a small amount of liquids from the US in your carryon. Many women today use the dry makeup that brushes on. In the closeup pictures she does not appear to have a lot of makeup on, just enough to look natural, imo. And for just a couple of days I would think she would only take basics as that is all I take for 3 weeks. So it is possible she could have put it in one of the two bags you can carryon. I see people do it all the time on flights to Aruba. Just their carryon and a large purse. I can't do it but I'm amazed how others can. jmo

I'm just saying I have seen people do it with carryons. And I don't know how they do it because I could not do it myself. But the one dress could lead you to believe she saved money by not checking luggage. You are talking about $50 plus dollars extra to check a bag for three full days. It's like a long weekend and I usually just take an overnight bag for a long weekend. So I could see her doing that. It did not appear they were spending a lot of money. Buying their own vodka and juice, going to a beach party and bringing their own drinks, etc. She was unemployed so I don't think she planned on spending a lot of money and that would be quite a savings. And as I said she may have figured so I wear the same dress a couple of days in a row, I'll never see these people again.

Plus we see her in the same dress in pictures but she could have been in a bathing suit most of the day and GG said let's get something to eat so she threw the dress on. Same thing the following day as she may have believed they were just going out to get something to eat. It certainly looks that way, she is dressed up to me and not getting ready to snorkel. At that time of the day she appears to be ready to go out for dinner, shoes, makeup on and dressed. jmo

I wasn't asking if a witness saw the dress, I asked if the dress had been found. Apparently it has not been. Thanks.

Can you imagine trying to walk in flippers in that area? lol Thanks for the video....I'm looking for something from LE saying they found the dress - which I didn't think they did since nothing about any possible evidence on the dress had been released.
