This was not the exact location GG indicated they went into the water. The rocks were larger and more coral like. This area contains smaller rocks and you notice except for one local with flip flops, LE and the rescuse personnel have on heavy boots. You could easily break an ankle if you were not careful on the rocks. As I said nothing, nothing in the continential US can compare to what Aruba has on their eastern coast. So trying to compare life experiences here in the US are not comparable to Aruba. jmo

That does not look like the same spot to me.
It seems the media purposely exaggerates the rockiness of the place where they went into the water by filming the most rocky spot. IMO

Matt Gutman is standing right where GG claims they went into the water. The other picture looks to have been taken on the other side of Baby Beach and the green areas are in between Baby Beach and the road. On the other side of the beach road are the rocks. Mr. Gutman is pointing out the exact spot where RG supposedly cut her toe. lol It's a very large rock...GG claims she cut her foot on this very large rock. Stepping on a small rock, I could see her doing that, but this is a large rock and no way did she step on it. Had she tripped over it, she would have fallen for sure. jmo

Another one to compare, above the spot where the actors in the re enactment walk to the sea, then put on snorkels and splash into the water per the indication of Giordano, below ABC reporting the spot where Robyn and Giordano walked to go into the water:

Maybe this woman has too many close family and friends and GG was too afraid to try anything with her. If she had relatives in LE or the justice system, for example.

I think that Robyn made an easier target. I think it is pretty much her mother that has been trying to fight her battle now. And the kind of shady ex bf.

The other picture looks to have been taken on the other side of Baby Beach and the green areas are in between Baby Beach and the road. On the other side of the beach road are the rocks. Mr. Gutman is pointing out the exact spot where RG supposedly cut her toe. lol It's a very large rock...GG claims she cut her foot on this very large rock. In the video of ABC (see the two stills) they have the actors walk (in the sand) the route Giordano and Robyn walked and then put on snorkels and splash into the water re enacting what Giordano claims occured and where it occured.

It is obvious the media tries to raise doubt about the story of Giordano by showing the most rocky place possible.
There is also sand there to walk not just rocks, why would Giordano and Robyn walk on these rocks while they could have walked in the sand, that does not make sense. I am sure there are some rocks also in the sand and in the water, but to try to convince people like ABC does that Robyn had to walk over the rocks in order to get to the sea is not the correct thing to do.

I'd like to see the entire place on video not just snippets, that way we could make out what the most logical and most comfortable route to walk would be and also the most logical place to go into the sea. IMO

What you are looking at in the video is correct because that is what that whole area looks like where GG said he went in. You saw the picture posted yesterday with GG standing on the rocks with LE. Matt Gutman is pointing at rock RG sliced her toe on. How would he know that unless LE pointed it out to them?

Funny, too, how they never found any blood on the rocks. She cut her toe on the large rock and no blood, had to go back to where they placed the towels to stop the bleeding and no blood, anywhere, except on the towel. When you cut your toe and it's bleeding, it bleeds alot but there is no sign of blood anywhere on, near or around that area. It was dry, blood was not going anywhere had it been there. Investigators were there within 20 minutes.....so where was the blood??? It's not like GG could ditch the towel as it belongs to the hotel and you are accountable for it. Sounds as if this could be another of T. Stein's "inconsistencies". jmo

I don't understand why it is so hard to believe that he went into the water in that area. There are a number of videos showing the exact location and they are all the same. So why is it so hard to believe that they are at the exact location. I've been there and it looks exactly as the pictures depict it and yet there is still disbelief. GG admits they went in where the rocks were so I'm not understanding why it is so hard to accept that this is where GG claims to have gone into the water.

They had to walk 100 yards or more to get to the location and some of the area directly behind the restaurant are sandy but 100 yards down it's rocky, very, very rocky. jmo

Good point. And, just maybe she's not a drinker and had no need of sleeping pills. I think Robyn was the ultimate victum for GG. Trusting, alone, having relationship problems, liked vodka and had a prescription for Ambien. Soft touch, IMO. jmo

You are looking at a picture that was taken from a long way off. Whatever is in between them the camera will pick up. There are some grassy areas on the beach side between Baby Beach but the area where Matt is standing is where GG claims they went in. There are still pictures, there are a number of videos. You can't argue with what GG is claiming. He said it, he took them there and he pointed out the rock. I don't have to keep looking at the area as I've been there and where Matt is standing, where the picture of GG standing on those rocks with LE is where GG claims they went in. Nothing can change that except if he were lying. Which is what LE believes because what he is saying happened just does not add up. jmo

But in the reenactment you can't see where they are because the grass is in the way. Whoever took the picture is shooting across the cove a couple of hundred yards away. You can't see any detail from there. All you can see is that the pictures were taken at a good distance away and it's blurry. The grass is blocking the rocks. There is no grass along the road getting into the water, it's on the other side in that area. It's hard to explain but I doubt if that many people, including LE got the location wrong. They took pictures the first night. They know exactly where it happened. Matt even points to the rock she cut her toe on. GG had to have pointed that specific rock out. If they had pictures there is no way they got it wrong. jmo

The towels were lying on the ground where they went into the water. LE took pictures they know exactly where GG claims they went in. LE states this is the area GG said they went into the water. It's possible the two that were doing the reenactment could not get into the water in their barefeet and had to move down the beach to a safer place to enter the water so they could try to get out after snorkeling. We were not there when they did the reenactment so we don't know what they could or could not do while trying to get into the water.

Fact remains that GG gave a statement regarding where they went in. There was no mistake because there were markers on the ground. He pointed out the rock she cut her toe on. All of that was investigated prior to the reenactment. The reenactment was done because the facts did not match his story big time. He is the one who pointed everything out, he is the one who gave his statement if the facts don't match then this is why GG is their primary suspect. JB has never made a retraction on the videos to say this was not the place. In fact there is a video out there in one of the threads where he is walking along that same area talking with a reporter and you can see the rocks. This was JB. jmo
