I think the point of taking this film is to prove RG did not walk out far enough into that water to get deep enough to snorkel. Maybe if you are a young 20 something and use to walking on that type of terrain all your life but not a 35 year old woman who was consumming vodka and had taken an Ambien sleeping pill. No way, no how did she go into that water. My guess is she told GG she wanted to go back to the hotel and take a nap and that is why they left at 4:30. He did not take her back, however, he disposed of her somewhere else. Too many questions that don't make sense in this case. Way too many. Thanks for posting that again. jmo

Been to neither but the Aruban coast and shoreline is similiar to some parts that I am well accustomed to.

Where is there volcanic rock in the coastal area of the continential US????? And unless you have been there you can't possibly compare the two. jmo

Tide doesn't matter. It would be impossible to walk into the water in that location without fins or shoes/sneakers, unless one has feet like a reptile.

Okay, so what you are saying you are not from the US? One must also remember that "similiar" is not always "same as". No two places are alike....not even on this beach. Point is, GG claims they went into the water at a specific location and LE, witnesses are saying no way that happened. Unless you have been there there is really no point in saying they aren't telling the truth. jmo

Plenty sharks right in the bathing areas where I come from, no need to lure them in, you just need to be able to cast out beyond the breakers with the correct cocktail of bait.

Correct, the discussion was about sharks being caught from the beach.

I could post hundreds of pics of sharks being caught from the beach worldwide.

The other pic is definately not in Florida although that country does have a Florida. LOL

Actually, IIRC, the conversation was about you, personally, growing up where you caught sharks on the beach. So I thought the pictures were going to show us where that happened. It doesn't really matter, but I was confused a bit, Especially when Florida popped up.LOL

In fact, Cape town has less sharks caught off the beach than where I caught them.

I have dived with Great Whites though.

But this is not about where I am, this is about whether one could snorkel or would want to snorkel at Rocky point.

My fault, I asked about shark fishing barefoot - just trying to figure out why Robyn was wearing no shoes on that very rocky area....apparently it is not uncommon for some. I'm with you though - if one is not used to it, it would be almost impossible.
