Giordano told his lawyer he had met his travel companion a few years ago on an online dating site, they talked much on the phone and used to meet about twice a month. The man and Robyn Gardner had come to Aruba for a short vacation and on the first day they drove around and to Baby Beach with the intention to go find a snorkeling spot. The next day they returned, it was afternoon and they ate something and went to snorkel. They went snorkeling after lunch and that is when she went missing. He returned to shore alone, and when he noticed she was not surfacing, he sought help and called 911.

"We’d talked about marriage and about the future," Richard Forester, who had been dating 35-year-old Gardner for 2 1/2 years told RadarOnline.com on Thursday in an exclusive interview.

"We were looking for a place together," explained Forester, adding that they already spent nearly every night side by side. "She had her own apartment in Frederick but she lived with me six days a week, and she had her cats here."

“We spent so much time together, I don’t know when she would have time to see anyone else. We trusted each other and loved each other,” he concluded.


Despite the strange circumstances surrounding her disappearance, financial recruiter Forester said that they weren’t having trouble in the relationship.

There are places off the coast of the island which have tides that go outward and are very deep. People say that if she was dropped off a bluff on the other side of the island, most likely, she would have drifted away and not be found.

But the place that he said she drowned is NOT a place that she would have disappeared. In that area, most likely, she would have drifted back in or been found close by. Which is one main reason that the authorities do not believe his story.

There have been reports that the pair recently met on an internet dating site and it's been rumored that Giordano may have even paid the pretty blonde to go away with him, but Delawter said that is simply not true.

Where has Giordano's "truth" changed?? It has been the same "accidental drowning" story from the beginning. Attempts to call inconsistencies, perception, and assumptions lies, has not "changed" the truth. The course of events will always have subtle "differences ", that is what is being confused with "lying".

....and How can anyone tell if his suit is wet or dry from those pictures. Please explain why you are so sure they are dry.

I am a runner, and purposely seek material that repels moisture, even light rain--now that looks like the material of his suit, could that be why it "looks dry"---I don't know how anyone can be so sure. ALE say " his suit was dry minutes after they were called" What does that mean?

Furthermore a "hairpiece" that is as short as his will never look dripping wet, the texture and length of it seems to be the wash and wear type. Not much styling involved. I just think there are too many variables to use some of these "witness statements, and photo observations as some sort of reference. They are only representations of the reality. :twocents::twocents: OK, maybe 4 cents worth, LOL!

I would be willing to bet that the Match.com(does robyn look like she needed match.com) is made up so not to make either party look bad.

I don't think there is any question about Robyn and Gary knowing each other, at least not for me

As far as GG and RF go, I have never read anything that led me to believe they knew each other
Its possible that they did , but I have seen nothing that points to that

There were plenty of inconsistencies which I'm not about to re-hash - niner has taken the time to post many of them and can be found on this thread.

As for judging whether or not his shorts were dry from the pictures, that wasn't me, that was Micheline - I can't tell one way or the other.
