... that was Micheline - I can't tell one way or the other.

there's is absolutely no difference in the shorts in any of those pics...

maybe she can point an arrow or circle to indicate what she's looking at to know they're wet... ??

please and thanks.

I hear what you're saying, and agree that maybe Robyn didn't view their relationship as seriously, probably wasn't that ready to "settle down".

On the other hand, I can't come up with a valid reason why Forrester would lie about his relationship with Robyn. What is their to gain?

Plus, Robyn did, according to reports, text to RF, the following:

- "this sucks" , so here, she is confiding in him while she's in Aruba with GG, that something isn't right.

-(paraphrased), "I love you, we'll talk and sort things out when I get back", well, sounds like they may have had some type of lover's quarrel recently and she wants to make up with him.

The posts she sent seem to reveal that she looks to RF as more than a friend, and that she may look to him for moral and emotional support, and also, that she has at least some degree of trust in him for her to text him with these type messages. JMO

Perhaps he isn't actually lying
Maybe he thought she felt as he did
I expect that things were rather heated when he discovered she had lied about where she was and who she was with

On the other hand, maybe he enjoys the attention

I noticed in all the pics of robyn she pretty much has the same smile, even the pic of her and GG, he has a crazy drunk look (red cheeks) and she is smiling like its a kodak moment.

Maybe after she lost her job she took GG up on the trip offer thinking it would be a good idea to go away while not working because after she gets her next job she may not be able to take off for a while.

I was under the impression that she was living with RF, dang her cats where there,(if they where my cats I would be with them).

She told RF iirc she was in Florida after she left while she was there, iirc, even though she was in aruba with GG.

If she wasn't with him seriously why did she have to lie about where she was.

idk, games people play, so stupid jmo

I don't know
It is all just my opinion

How serious can you be if you are seeing someone else?
Its a rather poor foundation for a serious relationship, as is lying
She lied because she didn't want RF to know
I can only assume on some level, she wanted the relationship with him to continue for reasons only she would know

maybe vanity, self confidence, having men chaseing around her?

I think of the men in her life at that time he was safe to her, other wise she would not have taken her cats there, iirc she had her own place. maybe about to lose it, who knows

I don't know that she was wanting a serious relationship, she to me has/had that free spirit look, like she lived for the moment. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I was 27 before I moved out and over 40 before I married. :) I had fun

Perhaps it gave her a sense of security

I personally think she made bad choices in men
IMO, RF is no prize

LOL

Yes, after her failed marriage, perhaps she wanted a more casual relationship

Maybe she did not want to commit to anyone. Men often date a variety of women and no one seems to think that is an unusual thing to do. If you are living with someone in a committed relationship, and who may not be right for you, how will you ever meet Mr. Right. She wasn't tied down to anyone, apparently, regardless of what RF thinks. Obviously she felt what she was doing was none of his business and lied to him. He's not a police officer or a judicial official so she was under no obligation to disclose where she was going or who she was with.

Maybe her roommate did not want cats or the apartment she lived in would not allow pets. Her main residence was with her roommate and she had not moved out regardless of where her cats were. It could well be that she maintained her relationship with RF because of her cats. We will never know for sure. jmo

Yeah, Thats a good reason

the problem I have is if she felt it was none of his business, why tell him anything?
Why tell him she was going to Florida with her family?

Just go...

Personally, i see nothing wrong with being a free spirit, she certainly was of age to do as she wished
She seemed to feel the need to lie for whatever reason .Even if you think she was under no obligation to disclose information about her trip, it would see to me, she felt it neccessary to give an explanation

Its Richard who has the comprehension problem IMO

Yeah, maybe just wanted to play the field and have fun, but RF got serious and so she let him kind of take care of her, because that's what some women want. jmo

Agreed. Though I really know so little about RF I can't say, but as far as GG, absolutely a very, very bad choice.

  • #1,153
GG may have lured her there with the "modeling pics" story, like he did the other girl. Actually, imo, he probably did.

Plus, after losing her job, she probably couldn't resist that free trip to Aruba.

I don't know anything about him, just have read many of his comments
I find he conducts himself in a very distasteful way, JMO

And as we know, peoples perceptions colour their opinions

I SOOOOOOO agree with you . From day one there has always been something about him that just doesn't sit right with me.

What I have NEVER understood is why he has never set foot in Aruba to look for this women whom he supposedly loved so much. ....and every time I hear him say (paraphrased) " all I can think of is she was out there calling for ME to save her" ....really? Guess he just had too many personal appearances to make.

RF appears to be very controlling. He was taking care of her cat's so this may have been why she lied. Didn't they have a falling out before she left? It's possible he didn't want her going to Florida and that is what they argued about. I know a lot of people who would say "You just lost your job why are you going on vacation?" They may mean well but it's an attempt to control, nonetheless. She obviously felt she needed to provide an excuse for her absence. jmo

what exactly is he supposed to do when he gets to aruba? drive around the island with an open window and a megaphone shouting "robyn!! robyn!! where are you??"? should he don scuba gear and dive looking for her remains? what can he do that ALE hasn't already done?

now, i understand if remains are found for him to want to go to aruba to leave a memorial/say goodbye, but this isn't the case yet... so i don't really see why he should go there or be condemned for not going there.

(and i don't think one can compare this to BH traveling to aruba asap learning of natalee's disappearance... NH was a minor... and BH is her mother. not the same thing at all imo)

There is probably nothing he could do
Much better to stay home and call people out on FB

tell me, what do you think he has accomplished making the rounds of interviews?
He wasn't there when RG disappeared , so what can he continue to add

I don't remember if they had a falling out before she went away

I do recall he did not know she was missing until he called her brother to find out why she wasn't home :waitasec:
