BCA ~ I read your comment in the other thread about the State being notified at the same time, you are correct, if/when scientific results come in, they must be simultaneously notified.

After thinking about it, and reading comments elsewhere, I'm not sure what to think LOL it says "expert experiments", not scientific tests.

I was looking at the order again, and I had this thought awhile back and never posted it, but item A7 was flakes of blood found on floor by center console. How do flakes of blood get there? it was dried blood and it flaked off of something? what did it flake off of? either he was actively bleeding or it was dry blood and flaked off... I'm a bit confused about this, and I don't think we have any photo's of these flakes to look at. remember the dried blood on the top of the vial? would something like that "flake off"?
.
Oh Geez Missy~~Didn't see this until last night....sorry...

So, I went looking for a picture with the flakes...I sure thought I saw one...but I sure can't seem to find it now...Maybe it was on MaM???

During my search for the flakes I noticed this picture...

Was this picture taken by Pam??

Because I don't see any blood smear by the steering column in this picture....and is that TH's cell phone sitting there??? Maybe that is why KZ was asking them to produce TH's old cell phone....

Oh...and by the way....

How does the red hair tie or bow in the center console above the Pepsi can get moved from the left side in the picture above to the right side, if the RAV 4 was undisturbed???

..and..since I'm on a roll...

Why does it seem that there is cardboard INSIDE the vehicle in this UNDISTURBED crime scene picture?? It must be just ANOTHER coincidence...

Pictures are all from stevenaverycase.org Exhibits 293 and 13.

Daaannnggg, you are on a roll!😉 Funny how sleuthing these cases make us so much more aware to details, our surroundings, lots of things!
I thought I knew a lot about how to protect myself before I came here. ( Martial arts class, self defense classes, CCW instruction ) Seems I learn something every day😉
I also thought I knew a lot about people too. ( what makes them tick, why they do what they do, just reading people in general)
Turns out I had a few things to learn😉 Some, very eye opening.
Like most of you who are married I drag my hubby into this stuff when I need a great sounding board. ( the good ones listen regardless..even if we're just ranting, right? )
He says to me while we were out to dinner " since you've put all of your psyche babble into my head & introduced me to all of your serial killer sleuthing EVERYONE to me is suspicious! " lol!
He's always scoping out the crowd..especially when our daughter is out and about with us😉

BCA ~ I have been looking for the "flakes" and have not been able to find a photo. I have googled trying to find more information about how the 'flakes' could get there. I have gone back to the transcripts, and in Culhane's testimony she calls them 'crusts', but they are still labelled 'flakes' elsewhere. Whatever it is, it must be small because in the recent order, they have agreed that if splitting it would not be sufficient, the defense can have the whole sample. Interestingly, Zellner describes A7 in her 8/26 motion 'blood scrapings', but I haven't been able to find anywhere that they were 'scraped'. She also said that 1 uL is needed, this is 0.001ml, which is pretty small, right? lol

My thought process right now is.... that the flakes had to have fallen off/taken off of something, but what? Doing some googling, I have seen where dried blood could 'flake' off of say a jacket (found a case where a jacket was put into an evidence bag and when the jacket was taken out, they saw something in the bag, tested it and nailed the guy for murder lol) I also read that a drop of blood can flake from the middle and leave a ring around the outside of the drop (called a perimeter stain). Anyone remember the drop of blood that was photographed in SA's trailer? http://www.stevenaverycase.org/wp-c.../Exhibit-186-Blood-Spot-In-Avery-Bathroom.jpg

Looking at all the photo's again, I realized again just how bad they all are LOL A lot of what you are seeing in the photo's BCA are IMO shadows/flashes. The 'white' you are seeing beside the stereo/heater controls are from the flash on the plastic. If you look at the photo's that show the controls from right in front and not angled, you will see how the control's are recessed and it's just the sides you are seeing.

You also can't see the blood by the ignition on the angled photo's because it's recessed as well. I have seen other photo's where the things in the middle thing above the pepsi can are not even there, so undisturbed my butt! ;-)

I've been looking into this 'flake' thing and really, I have just come to the conclusion that there is almost nothing natural about any of these blood stains/spots/flakes. The CD case had smears, yet after smearing it, there is no blood anywhere else? not even on the door as it is being closed? huh? no bloody fingerprints, no bloody glove prints.

I agree that the angle may play a roll in not seeing the smear. But what about that cardboard???? You think that it is a reflection???
.
LOL I went back and checked the trial transcripts and CASO reports too.

I do... here is a different photo, different angle. I think what you are seeing is the flash reflecting off the side of the stereo, where it's recessed inwards.

I know there is something red in there, but I can't make out what it is...

Oh, and did you happen to notice the white substance right above the blood smear??

I actually think it's a candy! And yep, I did notice the white there.... I'm sure I have seen it before, but I don't remember, funny that you noticed it too lol

Everything is just .... unnatural IMO.

I'm also annoyed that she had a cassette deck but there was a CD case on her passenger seat with blood smears. I wonder how her CD's sounded on that stereo? I have never read or heard anything to explain that.

I had a 1994 Toyota that had a cassette tape and no CD player, so I used that thingy that you put the cassette in and hook it to a portable CD player and it played it thru the speakers. IIRC (oh that was sooo long ago) you had to set the radio to a certain channel and the sound was just ok, not fabulous by any means, but sure beat listening to a talk show...LOL

OH Missy, Missy Missy...

You've got me hung up on these "crusts" or "flakes" of blood...LOL

So, I got to thinking about KZ's tweet the other day about the blood was planted and not the way trial lawyers said tweet.

So, at first we all though of the vial of blood...

but if you remember..KZ said she had to wait until the evidence was turned over..but..there was evidence that Calumet had possession of that she could start testing right away. I believe that might have included the RAV 4. Now remember, she bought her own RAV 4. So she was familiar with the vehicle before she might have gone and started testing what Calumet had. So, I'm thinking that her tweet has something to do with the evidence Calumet had that she could have started earlier before the blood was released and was subsequently found to have been released on December 6th.

Um...Missy???

I don't think the cardboard was a reflection..Look at the pic above. The off brown color is the way that tape player was made. I had forgotten mine looked the same way in my 1994 Toyota....
