Khandalyce you became our little girl, I feel like I have come to know you and Karlie during this summer up until now. Justice will come but it is time to rest in the arms of your mum now.

oh dear I am crying.

Heartbreaking :heartbeat::heartbeat::rose::rose::heartbeat::heartbeat:

It IS truly is heartbreaking sleep.

We WS's can't get caught up with the vicious rumours the other sites relish.
We always remember there is someone's heart breaking.
'Karlie and Khandalyce were loved. They were missed. Their family lived with the hope they would one day return'.

Khandalyce was just a helpless little baby girl.

The flowers on little Khandalyce's casket shows a true devotion of our wonderful detectives, they too have family.

Just my random thoughts after reading these articles on the up-coming burial...

My artistic ability is limited to colouring in picture books for grown-ups (which I have taken up enthusiastically and are very relaxing, but I'm definitely no Rembrandt!).

But I am sure there are talented WebSleuthers out there who can draw or paint portraits. Based on the available photos of K & K that have been released to the general public via mainstream media, what if someone was to create a picture of mother and daughter e.g. as angels in each other's arms, or other touching image, either to be presented privately to the family as a tribute from Websleuths, or (with the family's permission) to release for public viewing on a website or Facebook.

I remember in the Allison Baden-Clay case, there was some beautiful tribute art that came from various WebSleuthers at the time.

19th June. The same birthday as my amazing mum. I will now always remember Khandalyce as we prepare to celebrate mum's special day.

I can't help but see the smiles on Karlie and Khandalyce's faces when they run up to each other and hug and kiss, being reunited after so long apart.

By some twist of fate, miracle, however you want to look at it, Khandalyce helped her mummy and now they are together. That makes me happy.

Nice idea MadDoc and I have personally been working on a digital image but haven't had time to complete it as yet.

BBM. Members are free to create whatever tribute they want and present it on their own behalf but it is against the rules to present any such tribute on behalf of Websleuths.

Grieving Pearce-Stevenson family's text

November 18, 2015, 3:29 pm

THE FULL TEXT RELEASED BY THE FAMILY OF KARLIE PEARCE-STEVENSON AND KHANDALYCE PEARCE:

"Throughout Australia (and particularly in South Australia) people were deeply saddened by the news that a young child had been found dead in a suitcase.

Their thoughts and prayers were for this nameless infant whose life apparently was stolen by person or persons unknown.

There were no fond memories to share; rather the prospect that a child would be buried unknown to those who loved her.

They ask, however, that no matter the rumour, innuendo and conjecture that all remember always that a mother and her child were needlessly and callously killed.

He must have been manipulated a close friend said if he played a role in the murder.
DH is easily lead and very gullible.

A former friend said I know him;
* as someone who would be easily led astray
* not an evil person not a domineering type
* history of unhappy relationships
* Seeking a mother - to be loved.
They suggest his history would suggest how does he put one foot before the other.
They have never seen him attack first.
This friend is betting DH was manipulated by someone.

How do you even put a foot in front of the other? the friend questioned when reflecting on DH history.

Odd turn of phrase. imo

I've just read the article Soso and there certainly are some weird comments from the ex-friend. Why ex-friend? Whoever it is, they are trying to paint DH as a dim witted altar boy IMO. It's also my opinion that this ex-friend is a woman.

Paraphrased from the article.

The former friend, who asked not to be named, feels that if DH did murder Karlie, it's not because he's an evil person. The former friend has never seen DH attack first.

Apparently DH has a readable history and if anyone read that history, they would think, 'How do you even put a foot in front of the other?' The ex-friend says that DH was not a domineering person and was easily led. The former friend is putting their money on someone manipulating DH. :facepalm:

Alrighty then! So I guess that even though DH is charged with murder, he's not evil. He doesn't attack first, he can't even put one foot in front of the other and some other domineering person manipulated him.

That's why he is sitting in jail charged with murder! Oh but of course the police are all idiots, they don't know what they're talking about, don't have enough evidence against DH, blah blah blah. And I say BS! DH is as guilty as sin IMO.

I think the ex-friend sounds female too.
I also think it is rather odd to be described as an "ex-friend".
Makes it sound like something occurred that tore the friendship apart, as opposed to "friend who hadn't seen him in years", which would be a better phrase to use if that was the case.
