One of her netball pals referred to her as Karlie Stevenson. She may have added the Pearce to her name to match Khandalyce. I thought the use of KP indicated that the ABN registrant maybe didn't know her all that well.

oh everything he does is so petty, so pernickety, so small minded, so timid , so sly..... murdering a tiny young girl, murdering her tinier younger daughter, stealing her identity, stealing the identity of her child, all for small amounts dribbled in week after week, no grand gesture, all skulking cowardice,.... the holding on to Khandalyce's birth certificate, using Karlie's key card and her birth certificate ( he must have had this in his possession to take out the ABN"s ) the slithery withdrawals from various ATM's, the repulsive burial ceremonies for his victims, the dribbling drooling drops of theft , $200 at a time max, year after year, the dribs and drabs of it. .. crawling around the AU countryside, slipping into various alias's , conducting himself as this person, then that person, all drab people, flicking thru his stack of idiotic ABN cards, pretending he is Twiggy, when his employment record will show he couldn't hold a job anywhere for long.. ... disgusting. In my opinion.

Not trying to defend DH, but the only thing he has been charged with is the murder of Karlie Pearce Stevenson. This whole thing could be way bigger than just DH.

You also need an ABN to register a website domain name with an extension that ends in '.au', for your business's online presence.

-.-.-.-

http://abn.com.au/

Increase the financial control you have over business affairs by registering an ABNtoday. The Australian Business Number, a vital tool for boosting business credibility, also helps you to manage money more effectively and the identifier gives you immediate access to a wealth of other benefits that many small businesses overlook at their peril. Dealing with […]

That's what I am thinking FG!
In fact, it's the only reason I can think of for wanting an ABN oother than doing contract work.
I am wondering if a fake website selling online, with payments going into Karlie's account may have been set up.
If you are selling goods online with no intention of supplying said goods, that would be a scam requiring a fake ABN and access to a false Australian bank account.
So far there is nothing to suggest this has happened, but I am trying domain name searches now.

Yes, that's true Duthtreat.
At this point there is nothing to indicate who set up the KP Explortion Drilling ABN, or why.

I was thinking more about who killed Khandalyce. There is a possibility she was killed by somebody else. And I would like to see everyone involved get their punishment.

It takes some level of sophistication to pull off a crime like that.

Read the story JaneSA. It is ridiculously easy.

I have also pondered that by the time the K P drilling ABN is registered karlie's centrelink payments had dried up. So maybe the fraudsters moved on to tax fraud or the ID and bank credentials were sold on? Perhaps to the "jail franchise" or one of the crime syndicates mentioned in that article even (if you think it's too sophisticated for DJH?)

Also cancellations can be done by the ATO for non use so it could also be that it was registered but was never or stopped being used.

the call out from the Belanglo forest has to be right up there with Stupid Things Your Dumb Murderer Does.... at the trial, its almost certain we will all learn who that call was made to!.. I will be so disappointed if he was that certifiably stupid that he rang for a pizza delivery or some such frippery.

I have never seen that they were phone calls. I thought they were tower pings. (basically your mobile saying to the network - hi - this is my cell site if you need to put through a call I'm here)

Which, considering how long ago this was I'm astounded the ph companies still have the data? I wonder if because of Milat and his nephew (committed murder in Belanglo in Nov 2010) Belanglo is a bit of a hotspot. Police could have already had the records for all the cell towers in and around Belanglo retained for years or as part of Milat investigation.

Imagine if the body was dumped at Belanglo in an attempt to blame it on a Milat but indeed because of the Milats the cell tower info has been kept! Bazinga!!!

Ok, well maybe it is just my own phobia of financial paperwork that makes me think that sounds like a lot of hard work.

Maybe the Drilling company was deliberate. Because the centerlink payments came to a halt, there had to be another source of income 'for Karlie' in order to 'keep her alive'.

Hahaha yeah I know the feeling :gaah:

It's really niggling at me, that name!
There must be a reason for being so specific and using the term "exploration drilling" rather than just something bland and non-committal like "services" or "agencies".

Would it be possible to establish if DH could have been with other people on the 14-15th? To see if he can be paired with other phones on the 14th and 15th. Like he has been with other phones pinged at the same locations, except for Belanglo State Forest because the other person(s) were smart enough to switch their phone off.

When it's exploration, you never have to come up with actual drilling locations and/or results. No family members visiting drilling sites etc.

quoting myself :D
Exploration Drilling is also a perfect cover for irregular substantial sums of money being deposited in Karlie's bank account. Actually it's perfect money laundering.

How about that for a financial nitwit.

Did your friend find it odd that tower ping data from 7 years ago was retained?

Maybe they thought that it would be a smart idea, to keep the Belanglo pings in a special data base, cause you never know :phone:

I'm also wondering about Karlie's phone. Was it pinged in Belanglo too?
Or was it in another location when DH was pinged in Belanglo Forest. Cause that could be an indication that she either didn't die in Belanglo Forest, that it could have been planned etc.
