A whole lot of things will be made much clearer when the person charged with Khandalyce's murder is arrested. Or rearrested. Lots of things will fall into place then.

True. But then we will have nothing to discuss.
We will know all the answers.

Whatever was in those suitcases, some of Karlie's possessions were obviously in Adelaide, or made their way there. By which I am referring to her ID used to update bank details.

Oona... it is rational to suppose, to hold the opinion, that those articles of Karlie's, the ID's like her driving licence, her pension card, her medicare card, her bank account stuff, that just didn't materialise in Adelaide in a puff of smoke, .. they , like all objects are subject to time and space, to gravity and reality, so someone had to take them to Adelaide, or post them to Adelaide ( which I just don't think happened, because posting this stuff is risky) .. its reasonable to assume someone took these things TO Adelaide, FROM Canberra TO the female impersonator..

So whoever took these things to Adelaide, knew the female impersonator. They didn't just stand in Rundle Street calling out 'who wants these things.'. And the female impersonator knew these things were the belongings of a dead person. Otherwise they would not be safe to use. Complaints from a live person would be a real risk.

It is only speculation that it was TB (the young fiancee) that witnessed the cases being moved.

Yes, I agree, it is only speculation.
We have no idea who the informant was.
I am sceptical about it being TB because if she was 12 at the time, how much would she really remember when it was so long ago?

  • #545
Where has it ever been stated or reported that TB told police that DH took 2 suitcases to his sister's house?

It hasn't KG - that's my point.
Unless, it was her parent/s home the cases were moved from.

Oooh, good point.

EDIT :"The woman produced identity documents to access her accounts."

the other option is, the person who used Karlie's ID stuff in Adelaide, went to Canberra to pick up these articles. I just don't see that happening. That person would have to know well in advance when Karlie was going to be murdered. That s a big risk for Holdom to take. Committing a murder on the schedule of someone else's travel arrangements.... nooooo.. don't think so.

Besides.. 4 days after Karlie's murder, guess who was in Adelaide? Holdom, using Karlie's keycard to withdraw money.

I've always found it so curious that (AFAIK) Khandalyce's DOB has never been refined down further than "Alice Springs 2006" - seems odd her actual birthday never seems to be alluded to?

Why would Khandalyce's full date of birth be relevant to the public at large? Perhaps it was a privacy issue with the family in not wanting to reveal her full date of birth. Khandalyce's full date of birth was in fact revealed recently in the MSM report of the memorial held for her in South Australia. All we know now it that she would never get to celebrate her third birthday.

Just a heads-up and for future reference. TB's parents and any other of her family members are off limits here. There is no indication that they are involved in this case whatsoever. It has also been reported that the police are treating TB as a witness and not a suspect in this case.

Amen to that. That day can't come quick enough! Justice served for Karlie and Khandalyce and the filth that robbed them of their lives locked behind bars for a very long time.

Yep, I know I could be wrong. Of course I could.
I'm just trying out ideas but not expecting all will fit.

I must try and find those interviews with neighbours again.
Do you have the link handy by any chance? I remember they were videos.

I am confused by some media, as referenced above, reporting that DH and HP broke up after the 2008 accident.
I think it may be possible that neighbour spoke to/met a male living with HP but how would they know who he was unless he gave his name, which he seems to alter often anyway.

I am suggesting that maybe they have assumed the man was DH when it may not have been.

I am imagining the journo saying "Do you remember when HP lived there?" and then asking what the relationship was like, and in combination with knowing that HP was being questioned and DH charged, perhaps they have merely assumed that the man they saw there was DH.

Yes, DH may have used other surnames but he always used the christian name of Daniel in anything we've read about him and IMO that was the case when the neighbours knew him. They didn't necessarily have to know his surname, just that his name was Daniel.

BBM: At about the 2:50 mark in the video re: the neighbours.

TB lived with her Grandmother in Charnwood. It was her Grandmother who said to the media 'just leave them alone' meaning TB and DH.

I am looking for the pic of her grinning like mad at the camera... god knows how long it will take, because for the life of me I cannot remember her name. She was not concerned about giving her name as I recall and I found that partly refreshing and partly worrying for her. .. there is certainly a picture of her on the web, and while it may take a day, I wont forget it, Panda.

Macabre, horrible and grisly, but little K's bones have been reported to have been "clean" and not to show signs of having been buried, so where does the disintegrating tissue go? and how on earth do people not see them when they are fossicking through an abandoned suitcase near Wynarka? :'(

Is it likely that Holdom, Karlie and Khandalyce were actually staying at Holdom's sister's place when Karlie was killed? Khandalyce would likely have been in bed when her mother was killed, with Holdom killing Karlie during that evening of 14/15 December 2008. (Dates indicate that the presence in Belanglo could have been quite late on 14/12 going into 15/12). Both of them may have left the sister's house to go 'somewhere', and left the sister to watch Khandalyce. On his return from Belanglo, he could have told his sister anything, or the truth. Meantime the 2 suitcases and Karlie's papers remained there at the sister's indefinitely.

But if he and Karlie and Khandalyce were staying in a caravan park when she was killed, then he has brought the suitcases etc to his sister's at a later time, and there would be no sign of Khandalyce either by then. He could have told the sister in this scenario that Karlie ran out on him with her daughter, and left all her stuff behind. Or any other sort of story to explain if he indeed told her it was Karlie's stuff. The sister may not have known it was and thought it was his stuff.

Meantime, Khandlyce has been killed and left somewhere 'safe' to Holdom, so she will not be discovered. It is my belief that Khandalyce was killed in the ACT. She was then retrieved at a later time and placed in the suitcase. It would have been very risky transporting that suitcase with the bones inside. Police can always pull up and search cars. Perhaps it was transported to SA via someone on a bus. No one searches buses randomly. Just my thoughts.

Yes I believe it could be as the older lady in the video who asks for them "just to be left alone" and says "they've had enough" was identified as her Grandmother and could well have been referring to her parents and younger siblings

TB, from Charnwood, Canberra, was just 16 when she announced she was engaged with Mr Holdom on Facebook in July 2012.

Therefore, in 2008 she was 12.

If it was TB who knew that the cases had been moved, she must have been living in that house as a 12yo. Could it be her parent/s house?

I am inclined to agree with that.
It's one of those impossible dichotomies I keep mentioning.

DH cannot be, on the one hand, "cunning as a s-h rat!" and able to maintain a tissue of lies to convince people Karlie and Khandalyce are alive,
while on the other hand, be too stupid not to slip a dead woman's card out of his wallet and into the car window gap when he sees the police pull over next to him, or destroy her belongings.

Either he is dumb, or he is smart, but not both IMO.

It doesn't have to be a question of dumb or smart - when there is the presence of psychosis and/or drugs - there is generally a bit of both. What is always present is the motivation/need to get money to get High.

IMO he kept things with "perceived" value.

For example: Kandalyce was a clean skin. Could have got all the way to 18 without a criminal record or a photograph on authority's records.

How much would that have been worth on the black market or even just another round of welfare fraud with a new accomplice?

Fixating on "dichotomies" suggests you are viewing this from a black/white perspective. I suggest that just like life on this planet and every human personality in it - nothing is black and white.

Actions that are perceived as "dumb" can sit right alongside "smart" actions. It depends on skill set, motivation, learnt experience, situational influence, sobriety and on and on and on.

On any given day I can have moments of brilliance right alongside stupid choices - to err is human.

From the very scant information we have including Facebook pages (which are dubious indications of personality at the best of times) it is impossible to make an assessment on DH IQ and personality. And perhaps now that I get to this point that's what you are really trying to say?

From your natural position of innocent until proven guilty - your bias is to seek the inconsistencies in the angry judgement calls being made and fair enough but...

I think at this point in time until the full information comes to hand and DJH has his day in court - you'll be running exhaustingly in circles. The vast majority of us no doubt have the highest faith and loyalty to LE and a lot of anger - the judgement calls will keep coming - you'll need a lot of energy JaneSA!!! But somehow I think you are up for the challenge [emoji1]

As horrible as it is, the only thing that comes to my mind is 'washed', cleaned with water.
