From the new photos shown, the Dora "shirt" seems to be a nightgown.

I have been searching missing children in Australia this is the only little girl I could find. This is so unbelievably sad. I'm from the US and this has hit me extremely hard . 😢

Could it possibly contain the capital letter "B"" at the rear of the camel?
The potential "C" panel (top hexagon third from the left) could be a ginger tabby cat from behind.... not certain but kinda looks like it when you zoom in. :/

Edit: Actually now, I don't think it is specifically the "C" position... the other images aren't ordered .... besides there are.only 25 hexagons, so not enough for the full alphabet.... unless the letter that the little girl's name started with was left off...

Hi Everyone, This case peaked my interest. Still wondering if it's Madeleine McCann. The suitcase man obviously wanted her to be found, based on location, etc. Why would that matter if she was a little girl who was never reported missing in the first place? No, I think this little girl's identity is important (MM) OR a pedophile ring, maybe the one who has William Tyrell, is trying to throw out a red herring to divert attention from other people in other places. Does anyone know how long it will take to extract DNA and compare to missing kids like MM? Thanks.

If the police have ruled out MM completely, then it's for good reason. They're always ahead of the info they give to the media. I doubt they ever actually suspected it in any way in the first place.

"At this time 32 children have been excluded as potential victims including the world’s most high-profile missing girl, Madeleine McCann, who was snatched from a Portuguese holiday resort in 2007."

I wonder about this wording because I thought, nobody knows exactly whether MM was snatched or not.

The "excluded" sentence was not a quote from police. Police said, "unlikely" it was Madeleine McCann, probably because of distance between Portugal and Australia. Looks like journalist took some liberties there. Anyone know how long DNA tests like these would take?

I agree with you. Operation Grange is a homicide investigation so they are looking for bones after 8 years. The media still like to portray this as a missing person case. Also until the final results of the DNA testing are known, IMO MM cannot be excluded.

SAPOL

At this time 32 children have been excluded as potential victims.
“It is highly unlikely that the victim in Madeleine McCann,” he added.
“At this time our inquiries will focus on where the evidence leads us in this investigation and at this point that primary focus remains within Australia.”

Do you have a link to the new photos image? (or was it upthread?)

I found the dora pjs my girls wore. They have the real Dora on them, with the word "Dora" (and picture of Dora) repeated in the pattern. They are from Target, and have an additional tag attached - this tag has a picture of Dora on one side, and "(C) Viacom International Inc. All rights reserved."

The word "Dora" in the found purple t-shirt has the wrong colours, so it does seem like it's not official Dora clothing.

There are other ways MM could be excluded - I'm sure they have dental records, for one thing.

Looking like sand dunes, at first I thought it was a heart shape, as for the rest, I think the fabrics are probably only 5 to 10 years old.
So the pumpkin and music notes fabrics are identical to what's on the quilt, but the other patches are a close likeness to the what's on the quilt.

Good on them for being able to identify those pictures, I certainly can't see them.

That camel patch is a bit odd, what do you think that could be behind it's tail?

My middle son, who's 30, still has the tatters and remains of his. He doesn't use it or anything, but he hasn't thrown it out, either. :D
I still have a piece of mine and I am 40 [emoji5] my mum sowed that blankie (I used to call it "my sheet") together so many times over the years. It is just too precious to get rid of.

This is near me, and here's a couple of things I'm pondering:

1. why did the well dressed man get into town in the first place? How did he get there, and why was he wandering about with the suitcase in plain view of locals?

2. the dump site itself - if he'd just gone another few metres and emptied the bones only, they may never have been found. Why so close to the road? Was he infirm, unable to walk any further?

Wanted them found?

Then why dump in the middle of nowhere?

Actually this perp seems disorganized. Quite panicky.

He mustve had a car, which also means he mustve filled up somewhere. I wonder if he crossed the border from Victoria.

But why wander about? He's not a town guy, and his dress seems to imply he's from the city.

It is so strange...but I have no doubt this mystery will be solved.

The only thing I can recognize besides the notes in the background is the pumpkin one, and maybe the stars.

It does look to me like the musical notes fabric underlie the entire quilt, and the hexagons are applique'd to it, like a backing. It must have been a very pretty quilt when it was new.

From all I have seen and read so far, the blocks are made up of a small square of fabric, the corners have a darker triangle and the blocks are all sewn together in rows. The middle of it is white polyester batting which has deteriorated but the backing looks intact.

Thank you. I couldn't tell that from the picture.
