I just got a tweet update from a journo covering the case it says STARTLING NEW EVIDENCE UNCOVERED it is airing on the news tonight!!!!

Wingfield Dump is an enormous industrial dump. I doubt that anyone would be allowed in to rifle through the rubbish. And it is completely the other side of the city.

My first thought: maybe a laborer of a recycling company had stolen a sack full of old clothes to dump the bones with it.
My next thought: how stupid this would be to chose bloody girl's clothing to dump the bones of indeed a girl.
Conclusion: the clothing has to come from the place where the little girl lived.

i have tried to enhance the gaf label, not much better but there is some print underneath and I also see a number "6"
is this the size? sorry I'm not good with how sizing works on different countries tags but this would be a small ladies size in UK?

It's 4:45pm in South Australia right now. The news broadcast is scheduled for 6:00pm in Adelaide. Not sure about other states.

Quilt identified, ie who made it or who received it.

Suitcase man identified or seen somewhere else.

Checking up on children and one little girl unaccounted for.

Someone recognised clothing and knows who the little girl is.

i cant see anything on the SA Police page and no other updates anywhere else so does that mena its not such a big deal because its the 7 news investigation team uncovered it or do you think the police are allowing them to be the first to release the information?

Hopefully it really is "news". Channel 7 is pretty sensationalist and it's not beyond them to just call it "startling new evidence" but actually just report again what we already know, or add in some speculation.
We will have to wait and see.

They said it was new information about the quilt. I really hope it is a breakthrough and not just a bit of sensationalism to grab viewers!
