Found Deceased AUS - Tayla Spies,29, white 2017 dual cab Toyota Hilux I’d also missing. Left a hotel in Daley & travelled west to Surat, Queensland, 2 Feb 25

I like it and I'd agree with your theory IF it wasn't the fact she disappeared Feb 2 and her car was found 2 days ago after it not being sighted there 12 days prior by the innocent property owner.
So where was she staying for the 2 months in between if she decided to go on a bender 2 days ago?
That theory makes a lot of sense... we just gotta wait until the cops decide if the car was shifted there within 12 days or it was there all along... the wait is going to be a long one... 😬
Addressing these together theory - I think it’s been a 2 month bender. It may have started as 1 use and not feeling she could return and turned into a spiral of use ultimately resulting in the car parked and an OD. Just because she wasn’t seen (reported) in her vehicle doesn’t mean she wasn’t location hopping

It just feels this way to me because of the way it feels like there is more known behind the scenes, the family’s messages, her actions prior and unlikelihood that a random person has time to do something take the vehicle and then decided to risk getting caught by then parking the vehicle next to the body

Presumably this theory and approximate time of death would be easy to prove/disprove by the level of decomposition of her body. MOO
I’m unsure of the climate in Australia in February to April?
RIP

Very hot.

I would expect decomposition to be very advanced.

Do we know anymore about the properties owners around where the car was found ?

That car could not have moved far without someone seeing it . Plus the fact the property owner does not think it could of been there longer then 12 days. I wonder if she had any connection to any of these land owners of the neighboring properties .

The car was found 2 kms inside the property gate and TS body found a km away. So guessing the body was on the property the car was found at ?

Could she have her own will, or been held hostage on a neighboring property up until recently ? Seems possible .

This certainly has been a strange case Expecially with the ex in jail and she’d had contact with him just prior to going missing .

I'm not sure at this point. All I can really think of is Tea Wright-Finger. Her case, I believe, was ruled a suicide. But I was pretty sure Shyanne-Lee Tatnell was going to be a teen suicide by river, and that was a terrible child abduction murder.

I was thinking that initially but the car turning up in bad condition ( goodness only knows what that means as it looked ok in the photo) With the owner of the property saying it’s been there less then 12 days .

Brings the question where has the car been ?

Moving the car to drop near a body seems a bit far fetched . Has it been there the whole time and the police miss it ? I doubt it as it’s not heavy scrub in that area.’

Why has the current boyfriend TN who she was last seen with been so quiet?

If you watch the full police statement, it's the property inside the car is not in good condition. I think they could be talking about perishable items like groceries inside the car, not the car itself. ... I posted the full police statement below. Suggestion: make a coffee it goes for 14 minutes 😁

And yep, totally agree, it's so far fetched, if it really has been shifted in the last 12 days, it's 🤯 my money is on the cops didn't look properly and the cocky was too mesmerised looking at his cows and just didn't see it...

Tia Wright-finger was such a sad case, a young girl who, in her own mind, felt her life had sprialled out of control and got too much for her to handle. Her case also crossed my mind thinking about this case...
RIP Tia.

Yep it is a very strange set of circumstances that's for sure.

These properties are massive. Owners wouldnt be covering all their land everyday so I am not the least surprised that the owner hadnt seen the car 12 days prior.

Given that the family did say that police and family/friends had searched a lot of the area on foot, cars, drones and small plane doing grid searches, I am guessing that car WAS planted there , possibly at night or when the ownerwas away from the property, etc.

She definitely could have been held for a period of time. If she owned money to someone and they wanted it. Could be another reason why the b/f was selling things during her time of disappearance.

Yep, her being in contact with the ex does raise suspicion thats for sure.

Hopefully the police are really drilling down this avenue of their investigation

Yeah definitely dont think it was a medical episode but it "could point to that", if you know what I mean

The car was locked.
Do we know if the keys where found?
If they have not been found on or around Tayla and/or around the car (she may have had them and dropped them accidentally if she parked the car and walked away), then it's unlikely she drove there herself, isn't it?

Police report that they have found human remains. They do not say a body has been found. This indicates to me that she has been in this place for more than 2 weeks. My opinion is that she has been there since missing. I can't think of any other reason her car has only recently been placed in this position.
I don't really follow the suicide theory, unless there was followup or consequences for her court appearances. Unless she was going to lose her children and was in deep into something. All my speculation to try to make some sense of this.

Agree. Thanks also for commenting on the remains not being formally identified yet too. This thread heading has been prematurely changed already to “Found deceased”.

If the phone didn’t ping after 12.13pm on 02/02 it was turned off or destroyed.

Tayla was seen on cctv in Dalby and then in Condamine wearing a pink shirt.

At 11.30am cctv caught what is assumed to be her driving in Surat. Her sister wrote that if you zoom into the car window you can see a glimpse of pink (shirt).

43 minutes later Tayla was presumably in the Yuleba South area (which includes Noorindoo) and probably not wearing the pink shirt. Chances are she changed her clothing somewhere, possibly in Surat.

Tayla’s sister said she received a photo of Tayla in a white shirt. IIRC it was mentioned that this photo was sent (or received) in the afternoon of 02/02 (not the morning).

Given the change of clothes, wearing a “Mimco” handbag, veering off the direct route home, car found on a private property, mention of looking for work on a local station, had she arranged to meet someone “about a job on that property”?

Noorindoo and Warkon is are properties, with an area named after them. The population is of the locality area, which is mainly cattle propeties. They started off as large pastoral properties and over the years get chopped up. Same with all the other places you've listed other than Yuleba. Yuleba is a town. As is surat.
