I read on the sisters page more recently that it was not TN. So police must have checked it out after that family reported it.
 
I also find this is a VERY bizarre thing for a family to write for their missing person.

I said “might have” Mishy. Just as I said Tayla might have visited Surat to find a toilet or change room.

The Timber Crate Cafe is opposite the Cobb & Co Changing Station where Tayla was filmed driving past, if Google is accurate.

All speculation based on wondering why Tayla was in Surat.

I have no idea and we’ve probably exhausted the bits we’re privy to now. 🤷

It doesn't sound like a note I'd leave for sure. What exactly do they understand? Her need to escape? (for her mental health, escaping a violent, illegal or immoral situation?) Her laying low for an extended period for whatever reason? (Until a situation blows over, or a person leaves?) It suggests to me there is definitely more to the story. As for everything being OK, how can they know that? It seems to indicate there's a problem of sorts that will resolve itself without the huge drama that it may seem to be?

However, the fact remains she has not accessed her bank accounts, any form of social media, her phone has been silent, she has not contacted family or friends, she has no contact with her children, she celebrated a birthday since her disappearance & she missed going to her father's memorial that she does annually. That does not bode well.

The sister has said on her social media accounts that she was in a good place more recently.

More recently she was in relationship with TN.

So I don't think the DV is to do with him.

If you do a search online you will find what her DV situation is in relation too.....

Also online she was in the courts Jan this year....

For me its more an illegal/ immoral situation, as you say.

Im still going with my drug theory on this one.

If you think about that, and what the note says, it sure is interesting.

Funny how family can call out people on this thread, yet cant actually tell the full story of what they know from her past..... as some else said here, is it to protect her past behaviours or protect some of the family??

I wasn't aware of any domestic violence, alleged or otherwise, it was just a thought I had. I have searched and not come up with anything in relation to it, but I didn't find 2 back to back court appearances from Dec 3rd 2024 in Dalby for a Tayla Jane Spies:

I can speculate as to what the court cases may have been for - something like custody of her kids, restraining order, something along the themes of her personal safety and happiness going forward. Or it could be unpaid parking fines, who knows?

I did finally find her Tik Tok account, and yes, she has reposted what I would call a LOT of relationship type posts. More than average IMO. I'm unfamiliar with Tik Tok and can't see over what period of time these posts were from, but the theme seems to indicate trouble in a relationship(s), past or present.

It does make me wonder if there was trouble in a past relationship that is dragging out and causing her concern. Is there any chance that she hatched a plan, with the knowledge and perhaps help of, her current partner? A plan to escape from past relationship troubles, and she's really being sheltered somewhere for a period of time? That could explain why he waited until the Monday to report her missing - to give her a head start -, and why her car hasn't been found. I don't believe we've been told why it took so long for him to report her missing. The problem I have with this is the fact her kids are left behind and she either told them her plans (they must be quite young, based on her age - can you trust them to be quiet?) or left them thinking their mother is missing. Same goes for her sister and other family members. Not to mention the time and resources spent on her case. If she is a free woman, she has the right to up and leave her life, so if she did want to go AWOL, she could have done so and immediately told her family she was safe, or the police if it came to that. I wonder if maybe she had done something criminal and was due to be sentenced or go to jail soon, and she's running from that?

Having something unpleasant in her life going on in the background could explain the message left at her dad's memorial. "We all love you so much. We understand. Everything is going to be ok". Understand the situation she's in. Everything is going to be OK - may be the situation has resolved, will resolve soon, can be faced up to or can be overcome in some way.

All of this is of course just my thoughts and imagination.

I think this maybe where the phone tower is where Taylas phone pinged. Assuming there’s only one tower in Yuleba.
Still a massive area to search.

I wonder if any more information will come out about the car. Where exactly was it found? On private property? Is it damaged in any way? Was it locked? Was it parked normally? Were the contents in disarray? Was her phone or handbag inside? Any fingerprints on it? How much fuel in the tank? Any signs of blood?

The yuleba-surat road is a unsealed short cut to surat. It runs through it... It's a large cattle property... they can be huge out that way, like 50,000 acres, it's down the orange looking road in my earlier post with the pics of yuleba creek

A vehicle believed to be that of missing woman Tayla Spies was located in Noorindoo (approximately 40 kilometres northeast of Surat) yesterday afternoon, April 3.

Around 3pm police were called to a Yuleba-Surat Road property after reports a white Toyota Hilux matching Tayla’s vehicle was located.


TN - Has anyone seen tayla, last seen about 11:30am Sunday roughly 30 k from Surat Roma side, hasn’t made contact or been heard of since, she was heading too Roma
