Found Deceased AUS - Tayla Spies,29, white 2017 dual cab Toyota Hilux I’d also missing. Left a hotel in Daley & travelled west to Surat, Queensland, 2 Feb 25

If TN knew she hadn’t arrived home, presumably not long after him, on the Sunday afternoon, why did he not report it until the following day? Did he search for her on Sunday afternoon, or phone friends and family? It would seem really weird that she hadn’t arrived, especially as they were travelling home at the same time.

It' harder, generally, to hide a vehicle than a body. So unless, like some folks have said upthread, the truck is in a shed or a body of water - that's going to be the flag to finding her or at least a direction to follow. If she got out on one of the side roads to take a walk, go "offline" for a little and was injured or fell, a drone may not spot her but it should see the vehicle. If someone grabbed her, they have to take her vehicle or figure out what to do with hers. It's a decent sized white truck and there's only a few ways to hide one. I'm not local at all - Texas - but I would guess LE has put out the word to tow services, body shops, storage facilities regarding the Tayla's truck. No activity on her bank account or contact with her kids is deeply disturbing tho.
Think I read somewhere (trying to find it) that they both lived in Roma and had spent the weekend in Dalby at the motel mentioned (on the cctv).
Tayla headed to Dalby earlier (Friday) than TN (Saturday) hence the separate cars, but both returned to Roma on the same day at the same time via the same route (Sunday).

No Tayla left Roma THURSDAY and TN left Roma FRIDAY NIGHT.
The other thing thats interesting and as yet, has not been revealed as to why, is the fact that Tayla is wearing a pink shirt in the video footage on the Sunday, the last confirmed sighting by police, but her sister said she had changed into a white shirt in the afternoon of Sunday.
So either she was with Tayla to know that or someone told the sister what she was wearing.....
If TN was the one to tell her sister what she was last wearing, then why would she need to change shirts if she was going straight home.

100% agree with you. Vehicle hidden and TS maybe also hidden. I do have a theory but as yet police havent mentioned so keeping that theory closed for the minute. I do believe TN knows why she went in the other direction that day and he wouldn't be saying to the police. But hopefully the police will be barrelling down that avenue by now
One thing to consider is that Australian police generally tends to be much more uptight than American police. They may well have more info (maybe even coming from the partner) than they are revealing.
Also to your point about about TN knowing where she went, if Tayla and TN met again in Surat (or nearby) after leaving Dalby, why didn't they simply drove off together following each other towards home? I mean, there could be an innocent explanation for them separating on the way home (eg one of them was going to stop at the shop or wherever else), but it does raise a question: did TN know that she was stopping somewhere else?

I have been wondering that exact same thing all along... it's very strange.
Tayla changing into a white shirt with a Mimco bag sounds like she was dressing up a little. Was she heading off to a job appointment or meeting of some sort? Wonder what the purple writing on the shirt said.
Also, why are we still just seeing the pink shirt in all photos, and not seeing photos of a similar white shirt and Mimco bag?

Because that is the last concrete sighting of Tayla with the pink shirt, hence why the police are using that for the public. I did see somewhere that the sister was sent a photo of Tayla in the white shirt on the Sunday afternoon which is why she is saying Tayla had changed into a white shirt.
Maybe neither of them were going straight home ?
Maybe both of them had other things to do and were meeting up later that Sunday at home , only she never arrived?
Maybe there are other people involved in this and that those people are not good people???
I personally think this has to do with drugs and that there is much more to this story of a missing person. And that someone Tayla knows is involved with her disappearance..
It is really sad that a young mum is missing and that her and her car has not been found.
There has been an extensive search for her involving hundreds of people and so far that car has not been found.
I think it is being hidden and that maybe the police and family know who is connected here but they need people / witnesses to come forward to report a car sighting.

I share your thoughts on the fact that it's wierd they didn't travel back together... perhaps she had to do "one more drop off" (possibly for TN) and then head back to roma.
There has to be a reason the sister keeps saying she was wearing white and purple that afternoon...
I’m hoping that there’s a lot not being shared with the public due to good leads being followed, otherwise it’s too quiet and low profile for my liking.
Who told the sister that Tayla had changed clothing?
What was the purple writing on the shirt? Is it a logo or relevant to what she was doing?
Tayla must have been carrying the Mimco bag wherever she was for it to be observed and noted in the detail. It sounds like she got changed to dress up a little to go somewhere pre-arranged (maybe about a job?) Otherwise she wouldn’t need to change just to drive home.
Where she went is the key and it makes no sense that she didn’t tell anyone, let alone the bf.
I’m hoping this is like Samantha Murphy’s case and the quietness is due to detecting going on behind the scenes and someone is arrested soon.

The change of clothes came about because apparently a photo of Tayla was sent from her phone to her sisters phone on snapchat - this was discussed very early on
FACT - The car rego ceased March 16 so it's now unregistered
FACT - Tayla was in Dalby because she had just picked up that car from an employee. It is her work vehicle.

FACT -TN arrives Friday Night
FACT - They stay at the Dalby Hotel and both leave in their separate cars.

I did read an early comment that they had been visiting friends of his on the Sunday.
Could this be the reason she had changed her clothing? Before visiting them?

HER MOBILE PHONE LAST PINGED GOING TOWARD ROMA – POLICE SAY THIS IS INCONSISTENT TO HER TRAVELING TOWARD NSW = HER MOBILE PHONE (TELECOMMUNICATIONS DATA) PUTS HER NORTH TOWARD ROMA , THIS IS ONE HOUR AFTER HER VEHICLE WAS SEEN IN SURAT ( so it is now 12.15PM)
The last official sighting of her is a witness who spotted her passing the Cobb & Co Changing Station in Surat, 80km west of Roma in rural Queensland, around 11am.
SOMEWHERE between around 11 am of the last sighting to 12:15pm of the phone ping - Tayla and her CAR, goes off grid. Her car has not been sighted. Every area has been searched for this car, using man power, boats and drones. NO CAR. The car has to have been hidden somewhere.
A relative of the current partner was saying how distressed he is, "absolutely heartbroken"
FACT - the current partner on the dating app Tinder during the time Tayla went missing and posted up something for sale on marketplace ( which has now been taken down) , 2 days after Tayla went missing.
