Last month, Joshua appeared to be staying with his brother Samuel.

At the time, his brother told Daily Mail that Joshua wasn't ready to be interviewed about his missing son, but when asked again on Tuesday if there had been any change, Samuel loudly shouted to 'get off the property, now'.

Edit: The article goes on to mention that it is believed that Josh is currently living in a house worth $1 million in Adelaide, which has been owned by Josie and Shannon since 2009.

This is just click bait. No reporters actually spoke to Josh, just photos of him. His brother did tell the DM to get off the property.

So it now appears that DM have pulled the photo of JM and another where JM and possibly SM and a guy were standing together. Wonder what the reason is behind that?

Moo...I think that opinions on guns depends on what country you live in. I live in Canada but it's not unusual to see someone who lives on a rural property with a rifle. A hand gun is a different matter....moo

IMO - You are absolutely correct & I am in Australia & I can assure you, people standing in their property holding a a shotgun just for intimidation is absolutely not something you see very often in this country. MOO

$1m? So a normal house in Australia then? realestate.com.au puts the current median house price in Adelaide at just over 1m. https://www.realestate.com.au/sa/adelaide-5000/ Nice try DM but house prices in Australia are insane right now and having a house worth millions means... having a house.

I would think if Samuel was there, then the daily mail would have published a photo of him?

I’m guessing but I am not sure, with 100% certainty.

They published the video of the grandma’s with a random guy.

They’ve blurred his face, but if Samuel got into their frame when they were visiting Josh, they would have shot that photo of Samuel.

Even they blurred his face, I think they still would have published it.

If we look at what was happening on the property in the days/weeks leading up to the disappearance of Gus the answer is shearing season.
Early spring brings shearers, rouseabouts and truck drivers (to transport bales of wool) . Shearing mobs stay in shearers quarters on the property. They would possibly know the Murray’s routine and that Shannon cares for the children while Jess and Josie tend to the farm. A few of the crew may have done some exploring after work and are familiar with the area.
Seems fishy to me that shearing season had not long finished before Gus went missing.
