It hasn't been reported anywhere that it was Josie that came out to call him in for dinner. The AFL Grand final game finished at 5:22pm Melbourne time. 8 minutes before Josie apparently called out for Gus to come in for dinner.
The Norm Smith medal winner was announced at 5:38pm Melbourne time.
"There was earlier a scary moment for Cats supporters when Jeremy Cameron had a head on crash with Patrick Dangerfield.
The decision to keep Cameron on the field as AFL medical staff watched footage of the incident has angered some fans."
This injury occured at 4:26pm, as per the article timeline presented.
Interesting, thanksThis was said by the father's friend, according to the Daily Mail.
Afaik the father hasn't sued the Daily Mail for defamation, and it's been reported as fact, so we can assume the assertion has gone through some fact-checking processes at the Daily Mail before being published. They are a major news organisation. I'm sure they have an editor and a legal department. Imo
Good pickup. That looks like the station junk pile. EveryApologies if this has been discussed before, I am curious about what all this is (circled in red by me), less than 1km west of the Oak Park homestead.
It looks like a scrap yard?
I imagine it would take a long time to search thoroughly.

It's absolutely disgusting the amount of AI generated articles that have been on FB with all the misinformation. It all comes back on Meta and they are the one's responsible for allowing it to happen on their platform. I've reported so many since Gus disappeared, but Meta does nothing as it doesn't go against their guidelines blah blah. It's time Meta are held more accountable for what they allow on their platform.I'm a little behind on catching up on posts. So this may have already been discussed but, I just found it.
And I find it shocking.

Exactly!I can't see anything more coming of this case, without a major police announcement. Poor Gus.
From what I have found, there is a photo of Gus that isn't AI generated, with a small bit of information on who lives on the property (not much information, just names that I know have been said on here, but anyway). Not sure if you will have seen the photo, but thought to reply just in case someone hasn't.It's absolutely disgusting the amount of AI generated articles that have been on FB with all the misinformation. Hard to say who are volunteers vs who are curiosity seekers, I’d think, who want to snoop around the family out of curiosity or to sell stories to places like the Daily Mail. Families have to be cautious about letting strangers get too close in these situations, even if the majority mean well. This poor family is grieving... I'm not sure how I feel about volunteers being turned away. Sounds like someone's is even irritated volunteers keep showing up.
In reality I don't know how I would act or behave if my small 4-year-old became missing. I probably would be extremely erratic. But I don't know if I would be irritated with volunteers showing up on my property. I just don't know...
IMO - I think the same, I don’t believe he was abducted, I just think he’s somewhere on the property & just hasn’t been found yet, unfortunately. It’s very sad. MOOI was reading the Daily Mail website article on this case. It seems a reasonable summary of what's happened and the circumstances leading up to the disappearance. Just visiting here to see what my fellow Webslueths think.
I agree with many posts I've seen so far, at this stage I'm also inclined to think Gus is somewhere on the property, in the house, or in one of the outbuildings. I hope he's found, or his body recovered soon. May God Bless and cherish him, wherever he is.
