Man?

As far as I know, the younger brother of Jess was living at the property. Is “the man” a reference to him or the transgender grandmother Josie? 😳
Adding, afaik, after reading that article twice, there is not one reference to 'a man' in it. So moo a reference to a 'man' actually doesn't exist in the report linked by OP.

Could the perpetrator be autogenophilic? It's my understanding that paraphilic interests often co-occur.
This was my immediate suspicion when it was reported originally, that it is a case of an older male who fetishises dressing as a woman and not a genuinely trans or gender fluid person. The family will have known that this will incur some judgment and suspicion so it may have played a part in their account of events, whether or not this person has any involvement.

The facts are that we, the general public, know that most abuse or violence towards children and women is perpetrated by a man and in these types of cases it is usually a boyfriend/step dad/uncle etc we all suspect from the outset and most of the time our instincts are correct. Maybe not in this case, we shall see.

That image with all of the identifiable beings, from the drone imagery, is really something.

Very specific identification of all the beings.

13 detections of interest, as well. Presumably, those areas were then checked - perhaps in their January search.

imo
I hope I'm not the millionth person asking this but I'm unable to watch the video with my full attention - does anyone have any screenshots or stills that aren't included in MSM articles? I'd love to see 'em.

The following is all my opinion.

So the story of wandering off is simply not true. And Josie and Shannon are suspects.

Been saying all along this poor young lad never was on a dirt pile playing, and never wandered off. The whole story concocted.

I think of the danger folks were placed in, the scope of the searches, the money and time invested, drones, choppers, foot searches, horses, draining pond, searching mine shafts, advanced technological studies of terrain, etc. etc.

Violent reaction to reporters snooping around makes sense now. Shotgun barrel being raised in anger. Stern warnings to have no one on the property.... please respect the grieving family, etc. etc.

All because of a lie.

It's repulsive.

They probably edited the article.

Anyway, I've never heard of Jess having a younger brother living at the station?

I think they mean Gus's younger brother.

I listened to the whole press conference and there was no mention of the suspect being a man.

It is news.com.au who seem to have added that and just about named the suspect.
I can't even find where news.com added it. Imo they don't. And if they just about name the suspect then
the presser basically narrows the current suspect down to JM or SM not 'a man,'. The OP is mistaken jmo.

ETA, jmo this whole thing is becoming an annoying distraction in this thread.

The news.com.au article did mention that the suspect was a man.
It's no longer there. They've taken it out.

The police said nothing about whether the suspect was a man or a woman.

The following is my opinion.

I suspect an accidental death and cover up. I would tend toward Gus having had an unfortunate accident while unsupervised but part of me can't eliminate the possibility of his death the result of a violent rage of some persuasion...and a cover up.

The outline of the unknown suspect has long hair - virtually unidentifiable in this unusual case, yet. ;)

Why separate lawyers?

Gus’s grandparent Josie Murray is understood to have hired criminal lawyer Andrew Ey, while the youngster’s grandmother Shannon Murray is being represented by defence lawyer Casey Isaacs, the Courier Mail reports.

IMO a criminal lawyer is someone representing a person in a criminal case while a defence lawyer specifically represents the accused

I think any convo here of gender or anything related is ridiculous. There is a dead child.

Does make me wonder if that’s why this was put out so quickly in the case though - to distract.

Exactly as it’s working here

I think gender can be very important to consider when exploring motives, if a crime has occurred.
