Just clickbait really, as usual with the DM. It says Josie's mother was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for her service to the community and Josie's father was celebrated as a war hero.
The rest is just what's been in articles before.

When a child is reported missing and there were three adults on the property at the time, it’s hard not to wonder whether all three know more than they’re saying. If law enforcement is pointing to inconsistencies in timeline it raises the question of whether all 3 are involved by either act of violence or covering up .

Without a body it’s very hard to know what actually happens to Gus . Police are saying they are still searching property , wonder if they are searching elsewhere ? .
Obviously who ever is responsible doesn’t want body found or if they do they want it to fit story of wandering off .



There are still key unknowns (police might have this info ) — for example,
1. when was the child last seen by someone outside the family? That timeline detail could be crucial.
2. Grandparents / parents movements in days before Gus went missing

Perhaps the guns are all in Josie’s name so the silencer was seen to be Josie’s too?

I don’t think the gun is important here. The separation of the two non-cooperators is. That gives each a chance to speak unheard by the other. Maybe not even speak, if loyalty to the other was a concern. Plenty can be communicated non-verbally - for example, likely places to search.

It’s interesting we now have both not cooperating rather than one. Why is this? Misplaced loyalty? Annoyance at the charging of Josie? Fear about consequences?

What I keep thinking is why doesn’t one of them relieve their daughter’s agony and at least indicate where Gus is? Surely their daughter has confronted one or both? To ignore that agony is beyond callous MOO.

Well, the child didn't just wander off, abduction is off the table and if LE believe the parents are not responsible, that realistically, only leaves the grandparents.

And now he is complaining about the media attention after willfully making a post 2 days ago on a facebook group for Gus that apparently has journos in it.

If you don't want the attention , than don't talk in the first place IMO
Why post in the first place & not just go about your own business. I think it was a very foolish thing to do in a very active major crime investigation & than cry foul when it goes pear shape.
