Australia Australia - Allecha Boyd, 27, Wagga Wagga, NSW, 10 Aug 2017 *Arrest*

The admin finally found my old account so Ozwitch is dead and Spotted Reptile rises again. Sorry for the confusion. Changing identities is hard, and so it should be.
I hadn't realised that police knew that Allecha went willingly with the perp to Coolamon. Was that in the media or inside knowledge from someone?

http://www.dailyadvertiser.com.au/s...oman-facing-drug-charge-freed-to-enter-rehab/

a quick narrative, Spotted. welcome back, BTW...

A while ago, police instigated a drug raid, Wagga, Coolamon, Kapooka, . around those areas. . of that raid, 18 people were arrested and charged.. of those 18, two were of particular interest to those of WebSleuths, in retrospect.. one was Katie Barret, 32 , former resident of The Rock, and the other was Samuel John Shepherd, 37 of Coolamon..

As a result of that investigation and the arrests, Samuel John Shepherd has been charged, along with existing charges of carting around a bucket full of methamphetamine, for sale, probably also manufacturing, it is alleged that he, along with the 19 yr old Hagen , murdered Allecha.

that's the connection known so far. As to the willingness of Allecha's travel, the absence of evidence of her non voluntary compliance is absent, leading the police to assume she went without agument, , even , perhaps it being her idea.. more to come on that.

from the NSW police website

.http://www.police.nsw.gov.au/news/n...vdi5hdSUyRm1lZGlhJTJGNjY3MzQuaHRtbCZhbGw9MQ==

'A man and woman have been extradited from Victoria following an investigation into alleged drug supply in the state’s Riverina region.

Strike Force Bruchhauser was established by officers from Wagga Wagga Local Area Command in December 2016 to investigate the supply of methylamphetamine within the region.

Following extensive inquiries, police stopped a vehicle on the Hume Highway at Goulburn on Saturday (21 October 2017).

Officers spoke to the occupants, a man and woman, before conducting a search of the vehicle. A sum of cash was located and seized and the occupants were released pending further inquiries.

A warrant was subsequently issued for their arrest and, follow inquiries, the pair was located earlier today in Wodonga, Victoria.

After their arrest, the 36-year-old man and 32-year-old woman appeared at the Wodonga Magistrates Court where an extradition to New South Wales was granted.

They were then taken to Albury Police Station where they were both charged with supply prohibited drug (large commercial quantity) and knowingly deal with proceeds of crime intent to conceal.

Both were refused bail to appear at Albury Local Court tomorrow (Saturday 28 October 2017).

This 37 yr old man is Shepherd and the woman is Katie Barrett. ... and as it happened, Allecha had been living in Albury and Wodonga, where she got into odd bits of strife here and there, between NSW and VIC States, just before she lobbed up in Wagga. The reports of her coming from Melbourne and South Australia left out the time she was on the Riverina, , ,, and oddly, Wodonga was where Katie Barret wanted badly to go straight back to, upon being arrested in Wagga.

There is a circular element to this murder , a bit convoluted at the moment, but in the process of unravelling, slowly, but surely .

rough timeline, with enormous gaps and huge leaps..

September 2016.. the NSW police begin a large operation covering half of outback NSW, in regard to the supply and manufacture of methamphetamine , and various other illegal substances. .. concentrating mainly in the west of the state, and investigating towns from the Murray ( Albury/Wodonga) , including Corowa and Yarrawonga , up to Wagga Wagga and points inbetween.

This operation was still continuing and is still operative when Allecha went missing on the----->

10th August 2017. Allecha is reported missing, by her sisters, I believe, and this is the last known sighting of her, in Wagga.

In September, 2017, there was a raid, and a bust of a stash of drugs in Coolamon, and other places in the vicinity, and 18 people were arrested, some were out on bail , of those out on bail Barret and Shepherd decided to try and convert some of the manufactured methamphetine into cash , in Canberra, or Melbourne , perhaps, and were, by a terrific coincidence picked up on the Hume Freeway just across the state border in Wodonga, and extradited back into NSW to answer breach of bail conditions..

On November 8th.... .2017..--->

Hagen, living in Wagga , is arrested at his home for the murder of Allecha, and....---->

on the 19th NovemberShepherd, having been arraigned in Albury on breach of bail and drug use and possession, is ..------>

On the 21st of November.... charged with the murder , (one has to presume in concert with Hagen,) of Allecha Boyd.

Barret has been re-released on bail with the intent of attending a rehab centre, in Wodonga, but there isn't one there, there is a small outfit in Wangaratta. ..

that's up to where it's at.

that $100,000.00 reward is apparently still on offer, among people on the fringe in Wagga Wagga that constitutes a tidy sum, a rather magic figure, unless... its a tradeoff for your life.. which is not an improbable scenario, all things considered..

http://www.bordermail.com.au/story/...ing-bandidos-investigation-in-albury/?cs=5748

'A WOMAN arrested in an operation targeting drugs linked to the Bandidos bikie gang is a practising solicitor who was caught “red-handed” counting drug money, a court has heard.

Alina Yousif, 26, was working as a lawyer up to the point she was arrested in raids focusing on the gang in Albury early Wednesday morning. '

this solicitor was on the list as duty solicitor when the drug charges were laid about the bust at Coolamon, before Shepherd and Barret did a runner, and before Allecha went missing.

I post this site in the general suspicion that her, and others in the same profession will eventually be linked in with the disappearance and certain murder of Allecha.

Allecha Boyd murder case delayed more than six weeks for outstanding evidence

Police have requested more time to go through telephone intercepts in the case against a man accused of killing Wagga woman Allecha Boyd.

Director of Public Prosecutions solicitor Andrew Hanshaw asked for six additional weeks to serve outstanding material in the brief of evidence against Coolamon’s Samuel John Shephard.

The 27-year-old was last seen in Coolamon on the afternoon of August 10. Her body is yet to be recovered.

Shephard, 37, is alleged to have committed the murder between 2pm and midnight on August 10 at Coolamon.

Mr Hanshaw said a partial brief of evidence had already been served.

Anthony Shane Hagan, 19, is also accused of the same murder.

His case was also delayed until March 14 for outstanding material to be served by March 7.

Hagan, of Mount Austin, is also charged with possession of a prohibited drug, supplying a prohibited drug, possession of an unauthorised firearm, possession of ammunition without a licence and not keeping a firearm safely.

Solicitor David Barron, acting for Hagan, told the court his client was “in transit”, requesting an additional week to speak with Hagan when he returned to Junee Correctional Centre.

Shephard is also charged with one count of supplying a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, supplying drugs on an ongoing basis and knowingly dealing with proceeds of crime.

Police allege Shephard supplied 507.5 grams of methamphetamine between July 17 and October 26 last year.

And still no body... there must be some of the heaviest hands in the business leaning on Hagen and Shephard to keep this matter so underwraps, as well as a mega amount of illegal drugs washing back and forth along the highways and freeways of NSW and VIC..... all those country customers!

the $100,000.00 is still up for grabs as far as I can tell. Everyone in Wagga must be comfortably off, these days.

I've just returned from Wagga, a regular part of my swing through out NSW, and I can attest with no ambiguity that 90% of Wagga 's population looks like it could do with a complete makeover, an operating iron , a long session with a bath and a washing machine and a hefty infusion of a couple of thousand dollars per person. .

Sure, it's high summer, and I do so not look forward to this run at this time of year, no one in Au looks terrific, and Wagga seemed to have been struck with a dust storm as well, luckily I combined it with Cooma , Jindabyne and Bega run , but my god, Wagga. . I cannot understand why no one has at least flirted with that reward.

Where is Allecha's body?.. why is there no apparent progress in this matter?.. who is holding on to the secret?.. who has the power hand in this hideous crime?

That has to have some significance, H.......Wagga isn't as small as a village, it's also a university town, with all that entails, but it is weirdly and strictly layered into vastly differentiated social and economic layers, more so that any other town, except, perhaps, Armidale... also in NSW, also out in the west.

There are million dollar streets and dreary straight treeless streets of Dept of Housing, then the Aboriginal area, then the Uni area, then the retired area, etc..all surrounded by mega agribusiness properties... it is not what one could call integrated. ....

And it's hard to get out of, unless you have access to a substantial amount of money, because Wagga is a long way from anywhere. Even a bus ride into Canberra isn't cheap, and there is only one bus ride, the train to Sydney and Melbourne isn't cheap, and there is only one each of those, too.. and you cant be waiting around the station or the bus stop .

Petrol costs a lot out there, and your car has to be in good condition to push it thru the heat and the distance for hundreds of Klms..

Hiding in Wagga itself.. hard to imagine.. everyone knows the usual hidey-holes, the drop houses, the vacant blocks, the ruins...

Thanks for your detailed explanation of Wagga Wagga in the 2 previous posts you have done. Very insightful and intelligent. For some reason I thought it a smaller place and not so west of the coast. Lazy me just googled population and the location. (Shake head at self) with the reporting of drugs running rampant in the outback towns the circle of crooks is most likely bigger than I had first envisioned.

The clues police believe will lead them to young woman's body
7 News/AAP
3:13pm AEST 11 April 2018

‘Senior Constable Adam Aiken, from the NSW Police dog squad, said it was believed Ms Boyd's body was buried within the 150m-by-600m search area.

"We look for areas of interest that are different to the natural lie of the land. We'll break the ground up and allow odour to come out of the ground," Senior Constable Aitken said.

"We're also checking the compaction. The ground is extremely hard, it's almost like rock, but with a burial, there'll be a crust. We're able to probe through that crust and then hopefully find the grave."’

Somebody is yapping. Not much and maybe under terrific pressure, but the news report is a bit shy about pinning down who the info came from, if it came from the two held in custody, or outside info... and the 'expert advisor'.. I'd love to know who that might be.

At a guess, Lester Forest seems to be a local sort of thing, not a tourist attraction, or a magnet for travelers, nor does it appear to wish to attract visitors.. no BBQ or shelter, or anything like a picnic ground.. not a gathering place at all. So.. a local with 'new information' , perhaps.. local to Coolamon, more so than Wagga, although it is possible to be a local in both places these days.

That was my thoughts when I read the above couple posts, someone has surely said where or phone pings or something. They seem to be concentrating on that area they are searching. Fingers crossed.
