I did read through about three threads but unfortunately with a job and kids I don't have a spare few days on my hands like you to read through 10 threads. What I said wasn't even a big deal?? Seems to be more time wasting to do this tit for tat thing. I think I'm now going to resort to just reading and will refrain from posting as I have found a few people to be quite sensitive.

Just go ahead and post what you like Schmickthespy.....don't worry about what other posters may think, everyone has the right to express their opinion.

I come on every day and even I cant keep up (especially if one wants to give their 2 cents worth)...There is a timeline about the case, which shows the facts that have been presented so far.

I personally feel one just has to jump on in....or else, if one just read all the threads, you would never keep up x

Fair enough, and welcome.

By the same token it can be a bit much having links demanded for things we've been discussing for 4 weeks, and for which we've already posted links dozens of times. Some of us are pretty exhausted after slogging away here for so long. But I understand going through all the 100's of posts is impossible. Perhaps a browse through some of the threads and reading some discussions could be a bit more doable.

Also, one thing that could be helpful and take a lot less time is to check out the timeline for this thread, it has all the links posted there with a precis of what each contains. You can find a link to the timeline by going to the 'First' page of any of our threads and it will be on a Mod post there.

I didn't ask for any links!! I think I a being confused with someone else right now?? ALL I said was that I THOUGHT it had been thrown around that perhaps the children were not there that night??? I'm done with this.

Yes that was my point but right now I respectfully bow out of this thread.

I will just go by some general statistics: Intimate homicide is in 9 out of 10 cases done by the spouse. Most abusers are men, not women. The World's societies still have men as "superior", the macho, the ruler. Just look at how hard it is for women to break through the "glass ceiling" in a work environment ... and we are in 2012! Not many men like to recognise that their partners are more intelligent, have a degree and they don't, etc. This is still a world ruled by men, and they think they are superior in every sense. Yes, yes, I know not ALL men are like this, but the majority are IMO.

IMO in this case, Allison was a victim of DV, not the other way around.

I have had real problems with this whole case. If he were guilty sure, let's arrest him. But then if someone else did it and the Pigs are trying to flash that person out, let's pretend Gerald is guilty and secretly tap the other guy getting away with it making the certain phone calls ect. OK so what do we have a honey trap! Let's just see if I am right in the days ahead and be careful what we all say in case Mr Baden Clay sues you for defamation when he is proved innocent by a court of royal justice

Could you please refrain from using that derogatory name.

Todays NEWS is online!

http://www.couriermail.com.au/news/...e-having-suspect/story-e6freoof-1226361621268

A month after she disappeared, police have made it clear they have a suspect, possibly more than one, but yesterday continued to run out numerous leads as they worked to solve the case.

They have also confirmed they believe Mrs Baden-Clay was killed by someone she knew.

Thankee for that... Looks like things are heating up.

I am really hoping that the police know they have IMMENSE support from the public.

I am sure that I have read (sorry I still can't find a link-will keep looking) that a day or two before her death, a friend of Allison ran into her at the supermarket. Her friend said that she 'seemed sad and withdrawn and seemed to stare right through her". If crap was hitting the fan in the days/week before her death, this account and the scratches on GBC could fit. DV escalating to a crescendo on the Thursday night, sparked by-who knows?

I saw it as well. I think it might have been on the news site where people could leave tributes. I actually thought it was an odd thing to write when I saw it.

At this point I just feel as though I can't post for fear of "frustrating" people for missing a minor point or bringing up something that was said before.... I thought the rules were to not respond if something annoys you? What clogs up the thread is rubbish like this.

This is my maiden post here although I have been reading the threads for about two weeks know, before I type my views on this case I want to make sure I know how to drive this thing as I have never posted on an internet forum before in my life.

welcome Petro..feel free to talk about anything you feel relevant...everyone's opinion is valued.

I have a child and I work too, but I read bit by bit at night. I am just making a suggestion, but I think I came across the wrong way.

I hope this means that they are continuing to work through leads..run them out....rather than "run out of" leads.

Actually I thought it was make-up the first time I saw this pic of him...
under his right eye...

....also must have bought some Betadine for the scratches just above the sleeve cuff.

http://www.couriermail.com.au/news/...ires-a-barrister/story-e6freoof-1226344169693

I thought possibly the same marlywings.....the colour above his wrist is different from his hand.....but I can't actally say that I see any scratch though, I put it down to just funny lighting.....but it might be some type of make up concealer or betadine
