I have also alway thought the best friend who made the comment about not expecting her to die was odd. Odd enough I mulled over it many times but I never came up with her being a POI. But I don't think it is out of the question tbh. It is such an odd statement. Why would she expect ABC was going to die?

My guess is that the Police have had various reports of a vehicle fitting the description of one of the Baden Clays cars going through that roundabout between 11.30pm and 4.00 am on the night in question but the cctv footage doesn't back up the eyewitness reports.

My gut feeling is that the night they stopped traffic for twenty monutes while they kept sending a vehicle around the roundabout was to check if it was possible for a car to drive through that roundabout and not be picked up by the cctv footage.

there was obviously something on the body or position of the body for the police to declare it very quickly as an unlawful homicide, before any forensics were carried out, and supt ainsworth said it had been declared an unlawful homicide quite early on in the investigation, interesting as he also said there were no signs of obvious trauma, and they ruled out suicide

Did Det. A. declare it an unlawful homicide due to the rumour that when Police arrived a vehicle was being frantically cleaned by whomever was present (1 or both BC men) & when the vehicles were subsequently seized a luminol test revealed substantial traces of blood? That could've been ascertained within an hour of the vehicle getting to forensics.

There HAD to be some very real physical reason & tangible evidence for him declaring it an unlawful homicide.

Yes I thought that was an odd comment as well.

I have recalled reading a lot these posts and comments about newspapers how journalists take comments out of context and make them fit a story. The same with photos, someone was saying on here last night regarding Allison's wedding photo being used. A journalist would have come to the Dickies home, looked around , found the photo of Allison on display, said something like "That is a lovely photo, may we use it " and it then becomes public property

Yeah, I think so too....Almost like she is saying...."Oh we were doing something pretty risque.....and she was out cold.....we knew she was out cold....But man, it was a bit of a shock to us, to discover she was DEAD".

Some more local rumour to keep you all out of trouble tonight..
I heard that CCTV captured an image of someone removing the chain that night.

The Kenmore Traffic Camera does not capture enough of the image to see where the posts are that potentially could have chains. I was there again today( welcome to my world) and noticed another two posts on the entrance but no chains to be seen.. MOO. i just like saying that.

Did he say he had last seen his wife when she went for a walk at 10.00pm

or

Did he say he had last seen his wife watching the footy show when he went to bed at 10.00pm.

or

Did he say she went for a walk in the morning.

I can't seem to get a fix on when GBC alleges to have last saw his wife.

Any clarification??

It has been somewhat confusing this "went for a walk/watching tv"...the original reports only stated she was last seen at the residence. By Sunday 21st it was just "he went to bed".

Then through the next week Courier Mail was mostly saying "she went for a walk at 10pm"...I've no idea where they got that from.

This was later cleared by Inspector Ainsworth saying GBC had maintained the last time he saw Allison was 19th at 10pm watching tv.

But then he told Allison's parents "she went for a walk"...


In the very first report listed by police on QPS site it stated...

Ms Baden-Clay was last seen at a residence on Brookfield Road at Brookfield around 10pm last night.

Sorry mate....I did see your post.....I am under the impression the ruling (in here after much discussion) was "10pm while she was watching the Footy Show"....

But, it's anyones guess. It seems all of the above options have been reported.

I think the story was he last saw her when he went to bed at 10; Allison usually walks early in the morning - and when he got up the next day Allison wasn't there.

So, did she go out walking at 10am, or for her early morning walk, and not come back?

He said he last saw Allison wearing walking clothes - why do you say that? to get across the fact you want people to believe Allison went for a walk and didn't come home.

Oh - I don't think she went for a walk! JMO
