Allison's Mobile Phone: This phone has had me perplexed since the beginning. The police originally said that it had been triangulated to within three suburbs: Brookfield including Upper Brookfield, Kenmore and Pullenvale. This was a week after Allison disappeared.

April 26th: http://www.couriermail.com.au/news/...urbs-of-brisbane/story-e6freoof-1226338302828

"Police said they had yesterday managed to triangulate Mrs Baden-Clay's iPhone, before the battery ran flat, to a location spanning three suburbs in Brisbane's west.

They called on residents of those suburbs - Brookfield (including Upper Brookfield), Kenmore and Pullenvale - to search their properties for any sign of the mum or her mobile phone."

About 12 days after Allison was missing it was apparently within 150 metres of the house.

May 1st: The day Allison's body was found. http://www.news.com.au/national/hop...d-at-kholo-creek/story-e6frfkvr-1226343535002

"As the Kholo Creek crews worked, fresh search teams were sent to scour the gardens of the Baden-Clays' two nearest neighbours looking for Allison's mobile phone.
It is understood search crews were told the iPhone would be found in an area believed to be near the two neighbours and the Baden-Clay property itself."

Also from the Detective in quotes: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/tr...ents-in-the-area/story-fnat7jnn-1226345491639
"I know the community out there have assisted greatly in searching their properties, but if people can continue to be vigilant, if they find a mobile phone in the area, if they could contact us and let us know," Supt Ainsworth said.

I haven't been able to figure out how a mobile phone could only be triangulated down to three suburbs until I considered the possibility that the phone could have been moving about. When it eventually came to rest it was within 150 metres of the house.

Theory: Allison's mobile phone was in a car. A car that was not impounded for forensics. The driver eventually found it and tossed it out near the Baden-Clay home.

The theory doesn't hold up very well as whoever had it would logically have thrown it in a river unless they had some reason not to. Perhaps reformatting it, worried a continued search would lead to them. It does support the notion that the phone was charged somewhere near the end of the first week to make it findable near the house..

Food for thought only.

Hi all. I have been waiting for the following article to be linked from the Courier Mail this morning. Unfortunately it only appeared on my subscription and have not been able to locate it elsewhere...

It's interesting you should note this, Bayside. I have noticed a significant decline in the number of times news media are posting stories related to this case on their social media pages.

This is an extremely interesting occurrence, given the repeated concerns raised (particularly in the past couple of weeks) regarding defamatory comments made by web users who, according to observers, seem to remain largely in one of two camps: those who are ignorant of defamation risks (which is, as we have seen in previous links, no defence under the law); and those who believe the warnings do not apply to them and continue to post comments which could be considered defamatory.

I would wager the resources that a news organisation would have to plough into moderating the comments attached to their posts would be huge. It would seem a cost-prohibitive exercise fraught with legal risks which any traditional publisher would not prepared to take.

As others have previously noted, this will be a very interesting case to watch.

IMO UTFL

Cheers

Definition of Antisocial Personality Disorder[URL="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antisocial_personality_disorder"[/URL]

Callous unconcern for the feelings of others.
Gross and persistent attitude of irresponsibility and disregard for social norms, rules, and obligations.
Incapacity to maintain enduring relationships, though having no difficulty in establishing them.
Very low tolerance to frustration and a low threshold for discharge of aggression, including violence.
Incapacity to experience guilt or to profit from experience, particularly punishment.
Markedly prone to blame others or to offer plausible rationalizations for the behavior that has brought the person into conflict with society.

Does the above sound plausible regarding GBC?

OR he started to like the old bottle too much....turns some people into monsters.

what do you mean? how can I be so sure about what?my opinion that he has no support? can you clarify? no I don't associate with any of the Baden Clays. or move in the real estate circle. but I am interested in what you are asking me?
I was referring to the post in which you stated that everyone but everyone in GBC's life now wants nothing to do with him! If you do not know any of these people personally, then I am curious as to how you can make such a broad generalisation. Public opinion is a fickle beast at the best of times so I don't think one can simply assume that everyone hates / suspects / mistrusts / wants to punish GBC just because it seems to be public opinion or because everyone in your own circle feels like this.

I made that post - just before you get to the bridge there is a sign saying there are cameras in the area - but I am not sure about there being a camera near the mower store; I thought there would be surveillance cameras attached to trees in 'illegal dumping hotspots'. Also, the sign may be there as a deterrent - no cameras. Wouldn't have a clue where they are. But I figured if anything had been picked up on camera out there - Allison would have been found sooner.

http://goo.gl/maps/4Fvy

Actually the sign says "Another Project Funded from Camera Detected Offences"
Whoever wrote the sign doesn't understand how to use capitalisation and I am unsure of the project.

Sign may have changed since google went past and a sign saying their are cameras in place?
I wouldn't doubt that roads out that way are used for illegal dumping all the time though.

Could these be the neighbors who heard something the night ABC disappeared? Could she have been running to them for help? I believe if they could hear the BCs, it may not have been the first time? I also don't understand the phone triangulation info either,

Sorry CJ60! wakeskate's name is attached to that post in reply to mine. Thanks for your advice and info! It's similar to the one at the Kenmore roundabout - on a long, high, skinny pole about half way between Kholo and the shops. I wondered (if it was a camera) it may have confirmed the siting of the white and blue 4WDs - and the tailing/towing, whatever! It would be too far off Kholo and the side street before the bridge, to show what happened to Allison. Anyway, worth asking - thanks again!

Yes. Neighbouring properties are a church, a childcare centre. The nearest four houses are 50m (1) 130m (1) 150m (2).

Cool - it's dark now, but I will go down and check it out in the morning!

Hey Minni don't be too hard on yourself. I will bet my parking card that IF GBC is the murderer, then this man is a sociopath. That's what is so difficult. Individuals with sociopathic tendencies have a very different public persona to their private one. He has no sense of self & is a chameleon adopting the characteristics and beliefs of those he wants to charm. He knows all the talk...

His parents are intriguing in their "unusualness"... His sister seemed distressed & her body language indicated to me she knew far more than she let on.
It would be no stretch for me to fill in the spaces & see how he could be the killer or at least the accomplice.

This is where we need to be careful. People with these personality disorders are seemingly "regular"... so this man could well be completely innocent of murder but guilty of poor moral choices by our societal standards...

Your recoil after reading the transcript is very telling that you are compassionate & have a sense of authenticity. I hope you're okay. These personality types can really do our heads in...

Yes, very well said. And this is exactly what happens - to all those who can't understand why some women stay with men who abuse them, this is part of it. People who are sociopaths or who have other personality disorders can be very dualistic, they sort of 'split' so they can be in one mode and then another.

My ex and I had joint counselling at one stage where we each had our own therapist in a joint setting. After a few sessions my counsellor began to try to educate me into understanding the reality of my ex's personality, and why there were serious and unfixable issues. It took a lot of convincing me because he had so many beautiful qualities, and I always had hope of his potential and his being able to work through some of his issues.

But it was explained to me that he would 'compartmentalise' everything so he could be wonderful one minute, then suddenly seem like a totally different person with different views and feelings, who couldnt even seem to remember about positive feelings and attitudes he'd had the day before. He would go from being adorable and inspiring, and being devoted and loving towards me, to being cruel and frightening and acting as if he hated me and had no remembrance of being in the other mode. He would become so hateful and angry it was hard to believe it was the same person.

I don't know if GBC is like this, but just saying that just because someone seems so positive, talented, kind etc, doesnt mean there isnt this other side and that other side can't be extreme. Yes, I know, it really does play with your mind. Especially when you want to see the best in people.

:)

Off-topic, apologies - although I suppose it fits in with previous discussions about the pets involved in this case.

To keep it on the current topic, I notice there has been an absence of links provided for the "who pays for the drinks at the wedding" discussion. I though this might help clarify: http://www.wedding.com.au/tips-advice/articles/who-pays-for-wedding/

A media 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 your whole life? I've never seen him in the media before.(other than the you tube video and bRel estate blog that has recently come to light) But agree there is no proper way. and most of us thankfully will never have to be in the situation. Opinions on people are natural. But persecutions can get a bit much without yet factual knowledge of crimes comitted.

Well maybe a media '🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬' might be a bit much but I think he regualrly sought and achieved publicity in local papers through the business and his Chamber of Commerce activities - which he is entitled to do of course, and which is good business sense. Just that I think the poster was pointing out that the family, for business reasons have sought publicity for their benefit and now have seemd to shun it as if it is unreasonable for media to be around. Everyone has a job to do and that should be respected, and if you are innocent maybe a bit more understanding and co-operation would be in order.

The car rego BWANA was seen during the week by a local. A trailer was attached. Might have been part of the office clean-out.

.....a celebration?????????????????? come on fess up

You should be able to celebrate in the next week or so, when who or whom are charged for this horrendous crime.

There will be lots of fireworks here at this site. You will not even need to buy crackers.....just stay on line and watch this space.

:fireworks2: Just practicing.

I think I stated that it APPEARS that every close person in his life has not done a single thing to publicly show their support since the day his wife went missing. If you could repost my comment, I could certainly analyse it for you. I do think that I would have said that it was my opinion that the extreme absence of public support was not a positive sign for GBC. I also may have said his families severe 'devil may care' attitude is very damning for him IMO i dont recall any comments about others opinions or that everyone hates him, but if you could repost my comment, I might be able to explain or apologise for insinuating that 'everyone hates/suspects/mistrusts/wants to punish GBC just because it 'seems' to be public opinion or because 'everyone' in my own circle feels like this ..

(just quietly, retyping your comments word for word then, makes me feel reasonably certain that they are your own spin on my comments...maybe you are a reporter??????) No offence to my favourite reporters :D yeah you know who you are
