The CM makes a point of saying he doesn't have access to the trust(which is quite normal) just to make a negative implication out of it.
baubles and bicycles...
No, I just meant that I found it interesting that the CM mentioned it. In a little sentence all of it's own.
family trusts are often 'discretionary', meaning the trustee (often a corporate trustee). has the right to assign or allocate the 'interest' as they see fit. the only rights the beneficiaries have are the equitable right to demand the trustee properly administer the trust. having said that, GBC is not likely to be a beneficiary of the trust (I havent read the latest report, nor other reports on trusts as I didnt see the relevance to who killed Allison)
In fact, I think even the kids are not entitled to the money yet. They may have entitlement but are legally disabled, due to their age.
I dont think this is relevant that he doesnt have access
I think its relevant that CM decided to state this obvious fact IMO

That can be for peace of mind for the donating public. No, I just meant that I found it interesting that the CM mentioned it. In a little sentence all of it's own.
yes, totally unnecessary and stating the bleeding obvious. It is a clear attempt to raise suspicion in the public IMO

I was also thinking that maybe they think some people won't donate if they think GBC may be able to use it? ...so they were stating the fact that he can't? I dunno.
UT, it was reported that GBC's computer and mobile phone were confiscated at his home on Friday 20 April. It was not made clear who owned the computer and hard drive(s) seized at Nigelaine's place.

I for one didn't donate to the trust fund but i did send a money order in a sympathy card. I preferred to do it that way because i wanted to know the money would actually get to the family for the girls. I didn't do it that way because of GBC i just felt that with a trust fund they would have to wait for the money. Where as a money order they can cash straight away and use it without having to wait
