Australia - Brenda and Lynton Anderson, married, both 94, allegedly murdered a year apart, South Australia, 2022-2023 *daughter charged*

Raelene Polymiadis, 64, appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday where she entered a plea of guilty to breaching her bail by attending the Ingle Farm Shopping Centre on December 20, 2023.

A further four counts of breaching bail were dropped against Polymiadis.

Polymiadis will appear in court for sentencing submissions relating to the bail breach later this month, and is due to stand trial over the alleged murders next year.

She is due to stand trial for the murder of her parents in June next year.

We all knew she would continue to breach bail conditions after they let her stay on home detention after her last breaches. Must have had to do a little Christmas shopping at Ingle Farm Shopping Centre. this time.

She is being accused of and tried for the murder of both her parents. I don't believe we know her supposed motive - but I assume it was for the inheritance. In that case, are her siblings in danger from her? And any other family members close enough to inherit? How can it be thought that she is no risk to anyone? If I was her close relative, and possible target, I'd be scared, especially as she seems to go wherever she wants and whenever. She needs to be back in jail - yes, I know she'd do the "diabetes act" again. She's just playing them all for suckers.

“Undue hardship?” What no shopping trips or coffee dates? My heart bleeds.

Polymiadis suffered 'undue hardship' in prison

Defence lawyer Marie Shaw KC, for Polymiadis, asked the court not to impose a further penalty, saying her client had already served five days in custody for this offending, where she suffered "undue hardship".

"She was remanded in custody knowing her type 1 diabetes needed to be properly managed and the history, before Justice McIntyre, demonstrated that the South Australian Prison Health Services struggled to manage it," she said.

Ms Shaw said, at one point during her imprisonment for this offending, Polymiadis's condition worsened, and she was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.

She also said she experienced an episode while in her cell but was "fortunate to have a cellmate who happened to have a bag of sweets, or lollies, that happened to have glucose".

Ms Shaw said the woman Polymiadis was seen with in the footage is a "support person" and there is no suggestion that her client was at risk of reoffending.
