no police alerts out for parents to be cautious of a stranger danger to local children, i realize they start their focus on family and friends first, so maybe need to eliminate them from enquiries before issuing an alert?
will be interesting to see if they do and wonder if any media have asked that question about danger to the community yet?

When is the next presser? I know sometime late this morning, but nothing mentioning it online. No indication of a live stream or even updates on Twitter

And the clock is ticking - a few minutes away from midday here so 'late this morning' update may not happen on time. It would be great if that means they have more to tell and need more time to prepare ...

JellybeanIceCream, love your name!

Coppers are very good at sussing out situations and taking in details very quickly in cases like this, wouldn't surprise me if there is no more testing and no more time spent on that car after a quick look around at things, just my thoughts :twocents:

Qld police have had a lot of practice lately, unfortunately. If anyone will find Chloe and the truth it will be our Queensland police force!
100% !!

the house has only 2 bedrooms, and is on the corner. I posted the real estate to it link with pics above.

Anyone know what day Childers have their rubbish collected? The link on the council website is not working. I hope Police are isolating the rubbish collected since the disappearance to search for any clues.

Ryan Lavis's partner has been tolerated a lot of the last few years, according to her FB page. She mentions several times that Ryan goes missing after drinking. She asked friends on one occasion if anyone had seen him after he hadn't returned home for a few days, and a friend replied they'd seen Ryan and Garth drinking in the park. Sounds like they are long term drinking buddies.

this does not surprise me at all!

I hope that a 'debt' isn't owed here ... and this beautiful little girl is paying the price. Just wondering why the father keeps saying that it is someone who knows him, knows where Chloe slept (in a 'public' area of the house), etc.

Tactfully said SouthAussie. I've been thinking that but couldn't find the tact like you did.

Lots of tongue-in-cheek happening right now but I'm getting everyone's meanings.

Mmmmmm well maybe it wasn't the house Chloe went missing from.

I can't see a child jumping out of a window in the night, especially with a sleeping bag....she would've only taken her teddy "gnarly". WHY jump out of a window when she could've left through a door when everyone else was sleeping? I think she was bundled up in the sleeping bag and her teddy was already in there with her.
How high is the window from the ground?
How were footprints left on the car? Was it very dusty? (there has been a lot of rain lately.....)
There would have been more than a footprint on the car if someone stood on it to get in the window and then out and down again, with a child in a sleeping bag...it would be very awkward.

Believe it or not... my daughter once went out the window AND took the (live) dog with her.
She was a bit older than Chloe but the drop to the ground is 5 feet or more. :scared:
When we did fire drills as a child I was always afraid I would break something going out that window.
I went out the other one that has a meter on it to climb onto...my kid just jumped. :please:

(Not saying Chloe did... just saying my extremely shy child did, because she's fearless.)

Yes - apparently they can afford beer though! I'm with you on the neglect path. You can tell from the photos. I'd say her sisters are probably the ones who care for her the most. From mums FB, there was a worrying photo of one of the other children using equipment it was WAY too young for. clueless in my opinion.

I have pictures of my own daughter just like that, possibly even younger than that.
With blankets propped up it was the only place she was happy when she had an ear infection.
If that's all I can find to question someone's parenting they must be doing pretty good. :twocents:

Just listening to the father's friend speaking to the media ... saying something like 'she's just a little girl, she doesn't know anything, she doesn't deserve this, just bring her home'.

Not sure what else he is supposed to say, but I just got a vibe ...

Fair enough. On the other hand I've had 3 kids and wouldn't use anything like that on what looks like a practically newborn baby boy, but each to their own. My opinion on these two is that they should NOT have any more children.

UPDATE 11.56AM FRIDAY: Bundaberg Police Inspector Kevin Guteridge has pleaded with the public to give police any information they might have on the disappearance of little Chloe Campbell.

Insp Guteridge said an infra-red camera search last night failed to find any sign of the young girl.

Another air search was carried out at first light this morning.

Seventy SES volunteers have now joined the search, with community volunteers on motorbikes and horses looking for Chloe.

Insp Guteridge told Isis Town & Country reporter Melinda Bradford that some items had been identified at the scene, but he was not privy to what they were and said they would be subjected to analysis at a later time.

Yeah he was 2 months old in that picture.
She does explain that there are blankets and things though too.
If she just stuck him in it that'd be different. :twocents:

The discovery was made at 8am yesterday, approximately an hour after Chloe being missing was noticed. I don't think it is Chloe.

Phew thanks madameh, think I'm jumping the gun now... Time to have s break me thinks.

Sorry Brightbird. No offense intended ... just a stupid joke. Will delete it now.

That's ok, SA. I know how things look and what statistics say about the most likely suspects. But it just tears me apart to think someone took Chloe and did awful things while people pick apart things like FB photos of the family.
