What's the average time for Homicide to get involved with missing persons cases? Surely not as quick as this?

Ok have just come back from shopping with all the other panic buyers, and I am in Townsville!!! however we are on flood alert here, cant get any bread, uht milk or water.....

I have noticed statements now likeL

homicide police from Brisbane
crime scene at the family home
family members questioned
and the worst one
missing the same day as the rubbish collected

After seeing many of these sad cases on here, guys this is not looking good at all and I'm going to go out and say it: it's not going to be a stranger.

I don't like that she was sick either...

I don't know if this has been asked and answered way back in the thread somewhere (I skimmed a bit) ... but if the girls were all sleeping in the living room, who was sleeping in the two older girls room?

They said because it is School Hols they let them "camp out", nothing about anyone else staying in the home that night.

Oh ... okay. I wonder if that means no-one else was staying there .. or if it just hasn't been mentioned. I wonder if the best mate crashed there sometimes after a big night.

Thanks :seeya:

sharing this news story about the murder of Justine Jones at Alexandra Headland in 2010. They were not able to determine cause of death after the killer 'disposed' of Justine in a wheelie bin and her body was crushed by a compactor in the garbage truck. Her remains were found days later, only because they isolated the rubbish that was collected from the postcode.

Yes its a bit of a concern that Chloe went missing the night before rubbish day.
I would like to know what time the rubbish is collected? Very early morning I assume?
Has it been stated when she was last seem by someone besides the immediate family?

I feel the need to clarify that it hasn't been stated that it was 'a big night' - the only mention was that he was there earlier in the night drinking.

Doesn't say how late he stayed or if there was anyone else there. IMO they were probably hitting it big time and had a late night - but nothing else has been mention in MSN.

Much has been said on this thread about the drinking - saying it was a nightly occurrence - nothing to prove that. Quite often in Country Towns or even smaller cities, people call into friends places and are always offered a beer or two, doesn't matter what night/day of the week it is - it's Ozzie custom to offer a friend a beer.

Again, IMO it seems that this was more than a one off, but we have nothing to prove it was a nightly occurrence and that they are alcho's as some have stated. :)
