Hi there! I am new here, and had a bit of trouble finding this topic about Chloe. Should I look somewhere in particular when trying to discuss a certain case? Thank you.

Thank you for the great map, SouthAussie!

I am wondering if the men walking with the child (Chloe?) could have stopped along the way of their walk to pick up cigarettes, money at an ATM, or other items, along their way...

I see an ANZA ATM Childers Woolworth's Petrol and a Coles Express Childers (among other "stores") along the blue dotted path on the map...

Could LE have possibly found some further footage of the two men (possibly without the child) on CCTV at any of these other locations.... Now that they have the grainy residential security footage from LF?

:waitasec:

I was wondering that last night, Clue. Woolworths and Coles Express should have CCTV for sure. And I think most, if not all, ATMs now have cameras as well - if you are using the ATM. And if there is an ANZ bank at the site of the ANZ ATM, that should have CCTV.

But if they continued walking along the railway tracks till they reached their destination, did not go to a store, and walked the railway tracks back again ... any other CCTV may have missed them.

Let's hope they ran out of ciggies and did stop at a store, even if it was without Chloe while on their way back. :crossfingers:

(Assuming the little child with two people was Chloe, of course)

If one of the earlier media reports was true>>>>>>
and Chloe did indeed sleep in the lounge with her SISTERS>>>>
didn't the sisters or wouldn't the sisters have woken when whatever
made Chloe leave happened? thinking out loud....

It came close to happening with Mary Katherine (9 - same age as the eldest in this family, right?) when Elizabeth was taken.

Meaning Emmanuel came close to getting out of there with Elizabeth before Mary Katherine woke up, pretended to be asleep so she'd not also get taken, and then waiting all those hours to tell her folks.

With Chloe so young, and likely a more restless sleeper, and so many kids that age attached to their stuffed animals, blankets, whatever, unless they really saw someone, I could see the sisters not necessarily being awoken.

If Chloe had been the oldest then that may be different - but I could see older sisters who were still so young easily assuming she really was just going to mom or dad or something, especially given her having been unwell.

Particularly after having just read Elizabeth Smart's book and her account of the night she was taken.

Welcome Neopolitan! :seeya:

You can open the search tab along the top of the page, type in the name of the victim (usually) and search for the thread. That will pull up anything for that person, if there is a current thread going.

Hi Neopolitan and Welcome.

It can be a little confusing if your searching for something in particular. Until you become more familiar with WS, the easiest way is to put the name into the search box on the left of the main page.

See search boxes everywhere :)

MOO but I wouldn't be able let that little angel out of my arms let alone my sight!

I'm guessing LE probably isn't giving her/them a choice.

Several articles have said that mom is going to 'interview' her (with major LE guidance, I'm sure) today (Saturday).

I'd strongly suspect they let family see her so that they know she's ok, and also to reassure Chloe - especially her mom, whom she was asking for. But that then they need to limit it until they get all the questions they need answered and information found out without any chance for things to be suggested or found out in a manner that isn't how LE wanted things handled.

With having to be so careful in order not to risk compromising specifics in case there may be charges of some sort (related to anyone) or people that need to be found, I don't think LE can take the risk of that prolonged time and/or Chloe being with someone.

Plus Chloe's mom even said she basically passed out after saying she wanted to go home - who knows how much Chloe had slept the last two days! That poor sweet girlie is probably zonked out!

Did you see the reference in the article to the effect that a person is assisting Police with enquiries? I don't know how to quote from the article, but it's definitely there.

Chloe's father Garth Campbell spoke to reporters after hearing the news his daughter was found safe and well.

"Words can't describe it," Mr Campbell said.

He said he loved his daughter "more than anything in the world".

"I'll never let her leave my side again," he said.

Asked whether his daughter's kidnapping might be some sort of payback, Mr Campbell said he "couldn't explain it".

BBM This to me is very curious. Payback for what? Dad cannot explain it is a far cry from " heck NO "... so that leads me to think it very well could be some kind of payback, but for what?

The Brisbane Times ? I don't see it.

It's a quote taken from Campbell Newman, within the article.

I saw it too. Sounds like they've got someone. Can't speculate but I know who my money is on!!

“I just hope she is indeed safe and sound and nothing untoward has happened. All we know at this stage is she’s been found and a person is assisting police with their inquiries.”

It's a quote taken from Campbell Newman, within the article.

"Speaking in far north Queensland, Premier Campbell Newman said he was "thrilled" Chloe had been found.

“It’s sensational news and I’m just thrilled for her family, for her mum and dad and all her other friends and relatives.

“I just hope she is indeed safe and sound and nothing untoward has happened. All we know at this stage is she’s been found and a person is assisting police with their inquiries.”

Investigations are continuing."

<modsnip>

Maybe they were in different locations when they got the call Chloe had been found?
Maybe the baby needed diapers and Dad ran to the store?
Maybe Dad was out looking for Chloe and Mom was with the baby?

Then when they were both at the hospital they returned together and Tammy's Dad went elsewhere?

I thought I read yesterday that both parents of Chloe were not allowed to help with the search.
