Kadwell was 'suicidal'
Mr Sunkar said he believed Mr Kadwell was suicidal and they openly spoke about self-harm, but did not believe he had intentions to hurt his friends or family.
"I actually thought he topped himself off and was buried on the property somewhere," he said.
"I was pretty adamant at the time that Simon's taken his life, but I didn't think the other guys [would do that]."
Weeks before the family went missing, Mr Sunkar said one of Mr Kadwell's online followers told him they heard the cult leader had committed suicide.
When the family vanished, a note was left in their house saying "Gone to Brazil". But Mr Sunkar said Mr Kadwell never shared with him any plans to travel to Brazil, saying they only discussed their shared beliefs.
He also suggested the media attention in the wake of the family's disappearance may have triggered them to retreat further into hiding.
"I know they were very quiet and I guarantee, with the media coverage, they would not surface after that," Mr Sunkar* said."

It would be creepy, if Popic had witnessed 2 of his friends and a little girl's death and had disposed of their bodies as ordered, and was on one last trip deciding whether to join them in this "alien rapture suicide" as prearranged, or keep going on his escape to join his real family. That would certainly make his behaviour in those final days creepy. He should've contacted his father or brother. His brother wasn't far, East Perth, but he must've lost his bottle, or it wasn't Popic. The police seem to think that the Pizza guy met Popic. Could it of been someone else? I assume they only showed him pictures of Gary and Tony though.

Well, we know that's not true. He went after his girlfriend after she left the cult. It's a short hop from attacking someone to killing someone imo.

Gary is last seen alive on the 13th (Car Sale)
McDougalls last see alive 14th in Nannup (Dog sale)
Tony last seen alive 15th in Kings Park (buying a Pizza) after travelling from Northcliffe.

Yes i like to know, as the moon affects gravity strongly at this time and the darkness of the night, thanks Watergirl62.
Its is actually a notable weather map with rare conditions present .

New Moon = dark , without any moonlight if in bushland .

Weather: Fine with cold overnight temperature , east winds .

If Gary Kadwell was using anti-psychotic medication he eventually would have to stop if his supply of prescriptions run out .
Wonder if or how he dealt with changing out of his nocturnal mode ?

Hmmm, that certtainly is compelling... enough to point to GarySimon, being a nocturnal light-sensitive creature. I see that pressure gradient on your map. Are east winds rare in July on the southwestern coast?

Yeah, that.

Maybe the 3 did the suicide pact and Tony buried them because he couldnt stop them, but loved them enough to serve as their caretaker, final wishes and all... and then bailed. It would certainly justify pizza guy's testimony. But if I were Tony, no way would I run to my family, thats the first place LE would look, right?. Maybe he borrowed a page from GarySimon's book. Tony lived with him long enough to learn some tips and tricks about disappearing and/or assuming a new identity.
