This kind of Lenience only gives perpetrators a reason to justify what they are doing! They all call ' Mental health' as a means of committing these horrible acts and know they can get away with it

Fingers point to system failure for Courtney Herron's death

"There's been so many red flags, so many flags that have been ignored," she said.

"I wouldn't say missed, they've been absolutely ignored."

Ms Jones said she spent hours listening to and trying to help Hammond.
Ms Jones said she noticed a rapid decline in his mental health and authorities turned a blind eye.

"He started to talk to me about how he was Odin the Norse God and how he could send dragons from the sky," Ms Jones said.

On one occasion, after Ms Jones banned Hammond from the restaurant, she said she was forced to lock patrons and staff inside.

"(He) was outside throwing himself – like a rabid dog – against the glass window, repeatedly over and over and over again trying to get in," she said.
later trying to strangle his former girlfriend at knifepoint, for which he was jailed

Grief is the price we pay for love. (The Queen)

Watch the attached video where Courtney’s father is suing and it could be a landmark lawsuit.
His grief is heartbreaking.

I sincerely hope this article is somehow translated into Palestinian Arabic for Aiia Maasarwe's father, for him to follow suit. ... maybe a class action. I do not see any other way of attention being bought to bear on this hideous price that women, girls are paying throughout Australia under the weight given to mental health difficulties, which lead to these senseless and brutal murders of women going about their lives...

There does not seem, to me, to be enough weight given to the value of womens lives up against the rights to freedom of those who cannot , obviously, handle too much of it. The balance is out of whack.

A minor example of what I refer to, in the unbalanced approach to this epidemic violence in Au to women.

Former Channel 7 star Andrew O'Keefe walked into court today facing a possible jail term of five years. But O'Keefe's lawyer revealed his client had been diagnosed with bipolar and was hypomanic at the time. #9News http://9Soci.al/RpIw50FijUd

Former Channel 7 star Andrew O'Keefe slapped, kicked, pushed and spat on his girlfriend but a court has dismissed the charges on mental health grounds.
The former game show host walked into court today facing a possible jail term of five years.

In the end the case was withdrawn on mental health grounds, but the magistrate made it clear, this did not excuse the violence.

And what does O'Keefe think of all this???

"For the time being it means looking after my own and making sure I am back on form when I reemerge," he said outside court today.

The remorseless killer of Melbourne woman Courtney Herron is enjoying conjugal visits with a fellow 'patient' within the walls of one of Australia's most notorious asylums for the criminally insane.
