No idea what went on in court today, but the matter is listed again for 21st November, 2024, for yet another Further Mention (Committal).

It’s perplexing to me how one murder gets vast amounts of attention and other murders like poor Erin result in crickets.

It seems in the eyes of the media and some of the public, not all victims of crime are thought of as equally important.

It's like Erin's death is being snubbed by the media.

Kind of like her murder isn't as important as other cases where the press goes all in about what a tragedy the death of the person was.
They just don't seem to care, not even a little bit

I emailed the local newspaper again to ask if they will report on the hearing on 24th.

Erin was murdered Easter Sunday 2 years ago.

Lisa Fenwick was killed in Sydney on the same day as Erin, I looked to see what is happening with the murder trial and Anthony Eriksen had a directions hearing at the Supreme Court last week. Justice is moving very slowly for these women.

I didn’t know of Lisa’s case . Thanks for pointing it out! At least Eriksen is facing a trial from 5th May.

Thanks so much for this update Tootsie. It is paywalled, but at least what we can read is an insight into what is going on with this case.

I actually only emailed a journalist last night to ask if there was any update on this matter as no media has been covering it. So very glad to see this post.
