There goes Dad's 250,000 $ bond money,,,, hopefully , it was worth
Robert Crawford comes across as an arrogant, entitled SOB, so breaching bail doesn’t surprise me at all.

Husband of allegedly murdered woman Frances Crawford charged with breaching bail

A Lockyer Valley man accused of murdering his wife and staging a lawnmower accident as a cover-up has been charged with breaching his strict bail conditions.

Robert John Crawford, 47, was granted Supreme Court bail last month with a string of conditions.

They included a $250,000 surety, a night-time curfew to remain at his Upper Lockyer home and the requirement to report daily to police.

It is understood that the bail breach relates to the night curfew.

( is anyone surprised?? )
That’s just 5 weeks. Wonder how they caught him and what he was up to.

He has reportedly entered into a new bail undertaking and is due to next appear on the matter in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on August 14.

I hope they throw the book at  him his head.

I feel bad for whoever posted his bail buy at the same time what were they thinking? Sympathetic to him????? How much actual cash did they put up? 10%? All of it? If it's his own money, I hope he loses every cent.

I how he doesn't get a hand slap and a service chance. Lock him up.

I hope they revoke his bail.

We have an alleged murderer here in SA, one who allegedly murdered both of her elderly parents, and she has breached her bail (home detention) at least several times ... and they STILL allow her to stay out on bail (home detention).

Murder-accused Raelene Polymiadis admits to breaching bail by visiting shopping centre
So Polymiadis loses the 610 surety, and Crawford loses the 250K? A breach is the deal breaker for the bail money?

How do they know these people are leaving their properties? Is there some sort of road side surveillance outside of their homes?

As per this Channel 7 video…

Part of Crawford’s bail conditions were that he was to be at home between 8pm and 8am and to identify himself if Police came knocking at his door. Court documents reveal that he failed to do this on July 13.

Black Friday indeed! 🐈‍⬛

I just put up a post, Crawford got caught because Police happened to go to visit him during his curfew hours, and he wasn’t home. 🤣

So he's likely been up to it all along but just hasn't been caught until now. Sheesh. The Law does not apply to him.

I don't think Polymiadis lost the %610,000 surety that she and her family put up. Crawford's dad might not lose his $250,000. Depends how the judge takes whatever his story is. imo

In the Polymiadis case:
"Magistrate Browne ordered no further penalty be imposed and no conviction be recorded. Polymiadis is due to stand trial for the murder of her parents in June next year."
Murder-accused Raelene Polymiadis suffered 'undue hardship' while in jail for bail breach, court hears

Polymiadis has to wear an ankle bracelet. I am guessing that is how they are seeing that she is out and about.

timeline is strange for sure but I'm sure the police are or should look into the grade of the slope and design of the mower things like that. Riding mowers are designed to handle slopes but of course some are too steep but if she had mowed the yard previously then she would know, I would think, how to handle the slope with the mower. It would be really strange for her to be able to mow the slope previously times and then all of the sudden not know how to do it that would result in an accident like that

I can’t wait to hear his excuse! At least he has plenty of time to design it - 2 months in fact!

No disrespect to his ailing mother, and not sure how far away she lives from him, but I expect that she’ll be the excuse. He’s so self absorbed and his father sounds like an enabler so he’ll go for some emergency situation sympathy vote.

Still shocked this case hasn't gotten more attention - in the media, or on here at WS. :(

A lot will be going on in the background that we don't know about.
