Just a wild theory ......

It’s been said that he owed a heavy debt. I wonder if by any chance he ordered the hit on himself as an insurance payout. It has been said that he had a heart problem and health issues. I wonder if he sent his wife and kids away to keep them out of it and decided to get a hit on himself and maybe it wasn’t to kill (pelvic region) but to injure enough for a disability payout. If his debt was serious and he feared how he would support his family and if he had a sizeable life insurance policy it could be imaginable. To brazenly do it during the day and to shoot to the pelvis really makes me think.

Police are still searching for the shooter, who they describe as Pacific Islander in appearance, with an olive complexion and of medium build.

There’s many spousal murders. Usual men murdering their wives tho.

‘"There are multiple lines of inquiry because of the co-operation of the community. As soon as they come in they are being investigated," Homicide Squad commander Detective Superintendent Scott Cook said on Thursday.

But Fairfax Media understands that none of those public tips has led to the possible identity of the gunman or those who may have hired him to kill Mr Ledinh.

In fact, detectives are still not sure whether the gunman had a personal vendetta against Mr Ledinh or whether he was a gun-for-hire brought in to perform the dirty work of others.‘

I have been thinking about this. If he had his phone ‘location’ or ‘Find My iphone’ turned on is it possible it was ‘hacked’? Or could it just be that he had a regular routine? GPS tracker on his car? Or was he physically followed? Apparently, there are lots of ways to track someone’s movements and, if police are aware of that, you can be sure that criminals are.

A man has been charged with the alleged murder of a prominent Vietnamese lawyer at a Bankstown cafe last month.

Investigators will allege the 38-year-old shot Mr Ho a number of times at close range in what is understood to be a targeted hit.

The shooting occurred in broad daylight as Mr Ho sat at the Happy Cup Cafe.

I reckon they probably were suspecting him as the shooter and didn't have enough evidence and put an alert out and once they knew he was trying to flee they had no choice but to arrest him. Just IMO

The ABC understands NSW Police had Mr Kelekolio under surveillance and were forced to arrest him earlier than planned after his passport triggered an alert at the airport.

He was questioned at Mascot Police Station for most of yesterday before being charged last night.

Detectives also raided an address Hammondville where they seized several items relevant to the investigation.

‘Analosa Ah Keni, 35, appeared before Burwood Local Court on Wednesday, having been charged with murder earlier this month.

A NSW police spokesman told the Herald that Ms Ah Keni, of Liverpool, was arrested on March 8 by police on the Hume Highway at Marulan in the state's southern tablelands.

From there she was taken to Goulburn police station and met with Strike Force Eugene detectives before being charged with murder.’
