"Friends of Mr Ledinh said he was a good lawyer but a bad businessman, and records showed he was owing significant sums of money."

So did he owe her money??? What was the motive?

6:06am Apr 17, 2018

‘Police have released CCTV footage of a woman they believe could help them in their inquiries into the execution murder of Bankstown solicitor Ho Ledinh in Sydney's south-west.’

‘The woman shown in the CCTV is allegedly walking with Analosa Ah Keni, who was charged with Mr Ledinh's murder in March.’

‘The person in the vision is described as female, in her late 20s or early 30s, of Pacific Islander appearance and with a solid build and long dark hair.

The footage was taken about 3pm on the day of the shooting on East Terrace in Bankstown, with the female seen wearing a black T-shirt, black pants, and thongs.

Homicide Squad Commander, Detective Acting Superintendent Grant Taylor appealed to the woman to come forward.

"Anyone who knows the woman, or who has information relevant to the investigation, is urged to get in touch as soon as possible," Det Supt Taylor said.

“We have received incredible support from the community, which includes receiving large numbers of witness statements, and providing hundreds of hours of CCTV, mobile phone vision, and dash-cams.

“Our inquiries are ongoing, and we’re determined to provide answers to Mr Ledinh’s family. If you can assist us in any way, please call Crime Stoppers."’

‘A heavily tattooed man has been arrested over the death of a Sydney lawyer who was executed at a cafe in broad daylight.

Ho Ledinh, 65, was shot three times through the back at point-blank range in front of horrified witnesses outside Happy Cup cafe at Bankstown City Plaza in the city's south-west in January 2018.

Strike Force Eugene descended on a home in Leppington on Thursday morning where they arrested a 34-year-old suspect in relation to the murder.

Police allege he was the mastermind behind the execution, and ordered the hit on Mr Ledinh.’

Anyone know why?

In a word; money.

Police allege the man ‘ordered the hit on Mr Ledinh after a dispute over $200,000.’

‘Police believe Mr Ledinh may have been involved in a dispute with a number of parties over money.

'We will be alleging there was a dispute over money. What we know [is] the person who's been arrested today was [allegedly] responsible for contracting the person [who pulled the trigger],' Superintendent Cook said.

'We believe this [is] related to a dispute over money, a significant amount of money. We believe the dispute was ongoing for some time.'’

Smart move. Now that he's dead they have no chance of recovering anything.
Maybe they considered the shooting death was payment itself.

Really smart move. Maybe they thought they were going to get away with murder and so get their hands on Mr Ledinh’s assets after his death. Yeah right
