Yes those bull sharks are very aggressive. Plus they also live in fresh water I saw one in the Brisbane river.

If they’d made it to land somewhere you’d think they’d have been found by now but unfortunately I feel these boys have drowned unless they have pranked their own deaths which isn’t the first time someone has.

If they are alive then time is of the essence thinking they are injured on rocks.

Mother of missing British tourist visits beach where he was last seen with his French companion | Daily Mail Online

The distraught mother of a British tourist who went missing off the coast of northern New South Wales says she has found comfort in attending a vigil in his memory.

Hugo Palmer and his French travel companion Erwan Ferrieux, both 20, were reported missing last weekend in the midst of a holiday of a lifetime.

An extensive search for the tourists was 'scaled back' by police in the middle of the week amid fears they had drowned in Port Macquarie after their belongings were found in the sand.

A memorial was held in the same stretch of sand on Sunday morning, with locals joining hands with Mr Palmer's family and a member of the French consulate.

Three human bones have been found at two neighbouring beaches on the NSW mid-north coast.

Spear fishermen in Port Macquarie found a bone in the water off Flynns Beach and handed it in to police on Saturday.
Police believe the bones are human, with initial tests indicating they are adult bones.

Forensic testing is underway to secure samples for DNA analysis and determine the identity of the person or people.

Authorities will then seek to match the results with the missing persons register.

I’m so sad to hear this news, but I’m happy that the family has that closure, finding remains in the ocean must be pretty rare. I hope they are able to do the same for the other young mans family.. looking at the photos of these two young adventurers makes me so sad...

Human remains found on two beaches at Port Macquarie

A crime scene has been set up after human remains were found at two beaches on the New South Wales Mid North Coast.
The remains, believed to belong to the same person, were found at the top of the high tide mark, according to Chief Inspector Mick Aldridge.
Police have been searching for a local man whose car was found at Lighthouse Beach more than a week ago.
Last week the land and sea search for 56-year old Mark James, whose car was found at Lighthouse Beach south of Port Macquarie on September 19, was suspended.

Chief Inspector Aldridge said police were investigating whether the remains belonged to the missing man.
"With the remains, we'll do DNA testing and do a number of other examinations on it and hopefully we can identify who they belong to."

Did they find out who the black jawbone found at Umino beach belongs to? Apparently it belonged to a male in his 20s so I am thinking one of these blokes or Theo Hayez? They found the bone in June 2020 so a year ago but I can't find any article about who it belonged to
