Husband charged years after wife drowned while kayaking in Queensland

Police have charged a 55-year-old man with his wife's murder, years after she drowned while kayaking.

Graeme Davidson and his wife, Jacqueline Robinson, were kayaking together on Lake Samsonvale near Forgan Cove in Joyner, north of Brisbane, on November 27, 2020, when the 54-year-old woman entered the water and drowned.

Kudos to the police for continuing investigations into what, at the time, was believed to have been an accidental drowning.

GD must have felt very comfortable daring to come back into the country to visit family.

IMO

RIP Jacqueline Robinson

A thought came to me.
Was she already dead before going out on the kayak.
Maybe he drowned her at home.

Were there witnesses who saw them go out on the kayak and thought there was something strange, ie the woman was slumped over.

Anyway it's just something that entered my mind.
