Maybe that's just what they call the investigations for a report to the coroner, a coronial investigation. That's what it sounds like to me. Happy to be corrected though.So many articles mention Coronial investigation, but I can’t find anything on line about it. Perhaps the Police were only preparing a report for the Coroner?

There was a case on the Hudson River where a girlfriend claimed her boyfriend capsized in a kayak. He drowned. I think many that involved rough waters? I don't recall the details, but that is what comes to mind.It is rather difficult to fall out of a kayak. I'm not even sure how one would do that. It's not like falling out of a canoe, which would be easy. Has anyone here ever fallen out of a kayak?
