The wanted man is 20 years older than the mother. Could it be her father or an older partner?

I understand now they're saying he was 68. That means the mother was ~21 and he 53 when the first child was born. Ugh. I have a bad feeling that this relationship was probably built on abuse, and she's finally had enough and tried to get away and this is his revenge for that. Absolutely disgusting.

I know not all large age gap relationships are bad, but when the younger partner is very young - 21 might be legally an adult but the average 21 year old is still pretty naive and inexperienced in the ways of the adult world - it's easy for older people to take advantage of that inexperience and naivety. And that would be just as true if the gender was reversed too.
