So mum dad and toddler and dogs arrive at a Airbnb in the middle of nowhere, and within less than 24 hours he has left unnoticed with the dogs! The dogs come back without the boy! Is that the basic story? Moo

It's a little confusing, this article says that the father is a local man ....

Mr Webb said the father was a local man.
"He just lives here somewhere so he probably, he fairly well knows what sort of bushland's here as well.
Three-year-old boy wearing Spiderman pyjamas reported missing in Yallingup, in WA's south west

And other articles say they were visiting the property.
Visiting why? To clean an AirBnB property that they/someone else owns.
Or perhaps they now live elsewhere and came home for the weekend to stay in an AirBnB.

His family is visiting the picturesque surfing town of Yallingup ...

I expect more 'stable' details will come out. It is always a bit confusing at first, as media scramble to get details out. IMO

good find...I tried to do that type of search but IDK lol Maybe cos app and not on pc...seems likely to be it.

I'd say so, the location pin is on the next street and they are never accurate. What's the likelihood of being two Air BnB rentals in that small area??

I’m thinking it has to be...nowhere else near that I could find...but then does that add in the poss of homeowners being present...

I had that thought too, that they are the air bnb owners...I hope so...

Replying to self to say, would be odd time to be cleaning, as I know from personal recent searching, most air bnb’s in WA are booked solid for the next few months...one of the joys of being basically Covid free I guess...

I can think of a few reasons you'd rent an airbnb locally.

Presser info: The presser called it a 'holiday home' so I do think it's not theirs.

Nothing very detailed in presser, just that the mother looked for him as soon as she couldn't find him then called Police and they've been searching all day along with the SES, Airwing (chopper and drones), horses, k9s, and locals.

Weather 'appalling' including heavy rain and hail.

Terrain is thick dense bush.

Family are devastated and being supported by police and family, including by family who have come down from Perth.

No mention of dogs

I thought it a. Odd time for a toddler to be outside alone in a yard that is not enclosed. Maybe we are not getting all the story yet? Moo

Sounds like dad is originally a local man, but now lives in Perth?
Also sounds as though they have had no luck finding Jimmy yet, and will continue to search as night falls.

Police have vowed to search into the night for a missing three-year-old boy in the state's South West.

'Jimmy' and his family were holidaying in the area when the three-year-old disappeared while playing outside the holiday home on Saturday morning.

South West District Inspector Martin Voyez said police would search through the evening and into the night; "as long as it takes to find little Jimmy".

He said the boy's parents were "devastated" and being supported by police as well as friends and family who had travelled down from Perth.

Mr Webb said the father was a local man and would likely know the kind of bushland they were searching.

That one has a trampoline in the yard. I can imagine a mum leaving her 3 year old on the trampoline for a minute while she ran inside thinking there'd be no way he'd get off in that short time.

eta a cubby too.

Also has like a games room with table tennis, a kids playground with swings and cubby house etc.

Search will continue through the night

Family came from Perth last night

Was last seen with dogs at 7.30am; dogs never left the property

Searchers say there are a lot of holes, old cars and other dangerous hazards in the bush around there - "“Holes and cars buried in pits, heaps of dangerous places that he could have wandered off to on an adventure,” she said."

House is 1.5km from beach.
