Bio Mum has every right to keep away from the media to avoid crazy judgement and protect her kids as much as she can even though the media have been b*stards.

With great respect to you butter as I respect your posts.

KT would rather get her name in lights spitting at a cop and IN Burwood court.
Not my idea of media attention for William. IMO.

Are you deliberately not comprehending what I am saying? The bios now have a media presence. William is their biological son/grandson. They could be proactive, if they chose to do so.

KT is not allowed to, she has been under a gag order. And as far as i know from last i read she is in litigation for her daughter back. Sheesh!

‘Brave Allana Smith . . . ‘

‘(20:20) R:

'The Walk for William advocates have been talkimg today about a potential bush track escape route from the bush to the highway. Is something about that coming up here?'

(20:35) GJ:

'Look, there's a lot of people who make commentary on this. I'd say, I'd say, we're the ones investigating the matter, we're fully aware of the circumstances. We know what happened in Kendall and around Kendall and all the bush tracks. That's pure speculation on their behalf.'

(22:11) R:

'The so-called revelations about William's background. Obviously they're not unknown to the investigation team. How would you describe them? Are they a distraction?'

(22:22) GJ:

'Look, they're peripheral distractions. We focus on what's important. We knew the background to William so it's just a peripheral distraction. But, one thing I could say, knowing the biological family and the foster family that, you know, if you could respect their privacy it would be appreciated. As I've said, I've eliminated them from the investigation and it is just a distraction.'‘

‘(14:18) R:

'Is there a trigger point at all for a Coronial investigation?'

(14:20) GJ:

'We liaise with the State Coroner. I've met with the State Coroner in relation to this. At the appropriate time for this matter to be referred to the Coroner would be when we've exhausted all our lines of enquiry.

At this point in time, we're far from exhausting all our lines of enquiry so, at this point in time, would be premature for the matter to be referred to the Coroner.'

‘(14:42) R:

'Sorry, Gary, could I just get you to say that again for me? At what point is the trigger point?'

(14:48) GJ:

'The trigger point and, I base this on my experience in homicide investigations, is when we've exhausted all lines of enquiry. At this point in time, we haven't.

If this matter was referred to the Coroner basically, and I can't speak on behalf of the Coroner but, from my experience, we will continue on with the investigation.

When you've exhausted that, then may be the time for a Coronial investigation.

I'm personally hoping it doesn't get to a Coronial investigation because that would be indicative of us finding out what's happened to William.'’

Karlie Tyrrell was named as the parent of the little boy lost following a landmark court ruling more than a week ago.

Friends said Ms Tyrrell is not ready to speak about William's disappearance.

'We just want him home, we are happy poor,' one said on Facebook in response to offers for TV interviews.

I just want to say one more thing about good evidence .....

There is no way, not a chance, that a search warrant to rip apart all of Spedding's properties would have been issued if there was not reasonable cause to suspect his involvement. They would not have been allowed to seize his items - computer, car(s), mattress, etc - if there was no probable cause. I think we really need to understand that.

Because he said/she said that he wasn't/was supposed to be there that morning, is not reasonable cause. There needs to be more for such an in-depth search and seizure.

BBM

AND we do not know what was discovered in those searches and seizures .. evidently not enough to charge him at this point in time .. but that does not mean that no evidence has been found.

Or evidence against other persons, for that matter.

Sorry I don't know how to post the link here, but the 9News comment in Thread 3 #594 has always stuck in my mind.

The Speddings have lived in the area for only a few years, and 9NEWS understands the police are focusing their investigation on the home and the pawnbrokers, rather than on the couple.

Did police perhaps have information about someone other than B Spedding who had been at the addresses searched.

Interesting & haven't read that before. Could be a possibility if that's what LE said.

Paedophile named in William Tyrrell case freed from prison after sentence for molesting child

TONY Jones, the convicted paedophile named in the William Tyrrell case, has walked free from prison after serving his sentence for molesting a child.

Yes FG the news of that was on here the other day. Thanks for posting it up again. Awful isn't it. A mere slap on the wrist for hurting a child.

Just thought I'd bring forward this article:

It is understood a call to Crime Stoppers about Mr Spedding originally led police to consider him a possible person of interest in the case and to search his property. He has repeatedly denied any involvement in William’s disappearance.

The Daily Telegraph understands a plumber called to Mr Spedding’s house for a repair found a child’s shirt causing a blockage in a pipe, which further raised suspicions.

Off topic somewhat, but here is an interesting/sad PodCast from The Age about drug addiction.

http://www.theage.com.au/interactive/2018/losingpaul/?sdfdsf

Reminded me of the chatter around WTs bio Dad. I was fairly uncompassionate after bio GMs rants, (and still think she's selfish), but sometimes good to understand how people go down these paths.

I wonder if Le could determine any DNA considering where the shirt had been.

Well done to the plumber!

Please can I ask some Q's from all you knowledgeable ppl? Just trying to wrap my head round some things and am wondering...

Was FP's SM on "Private" prior to visit to Kendall? Could they have mentioned an upcoming visit to Grandma's on FB perhaps?
Could BS van have been borrowed/used while he was out for coffee with the wife?
Has KT relatives/family ever come out asking for help to find the little bloke? Have they even been identified? (ie: Where are the other grandparents??)
Did KL befriend NC before or after the abduction? Was NC aware of KL prior relationship to BS and TJ?

Such a tangled web that is weaved in this story. Nothing is ever coincidence.
MOO.
