Yes, I tend to agree. Sarah's generation are far more likely to turn to Google for answers to those questions.
(Unless you are WS members like us, of course :D )
They should have gone to a one stop shop like websleuths and have all their questions answered in seconds. Did a drive by when i entered the street from a distance i thought it was media. It appeared that SRs car was parked on the opposite of the road with 3 dark men in their twenties and one girl....im pretty sure it wasnt SR.....maybe support group.

Insp Day said. “The person who did this has a story to tell and only gets one chance.”

I find this comment from Det. very interesting. "One chance".
If BR has already spoken to Police and made a statement, he has had his "One chance".
Did SR make a statement to Police or refuse, thus meaning it is her with "one chance" to make a statement and tell the truth?

It's a bit unfortunate to taint Karen's thread by referring to and praising a convicted drug smuggler. IMO

channel 9 have spent all there funds on Schapelle Corby

:floorlaugh:

and Channel 9 as well as all the media missed out on a supposedly planned interview with Schapelle arriving home because "her team" were too smart... as Schapelle switched planes at the last minute to throw them all off. :shame: :floorlaugh:

Oh what a circus it turned out to be...
How embarrassing...well done Team Corby!

In case you hadn't noticed...my post was in response to the above posts upthread by Chewie1 #740 and sosocurious #742...

I was not the "original member" to bring up the subject of Schapelle Corby in Karen's Thread...
I was simply responding to the above posts by other members, as stated...

That thought ran through my mind and at least one other person in a previous post.

Maybe so, but they didn't praise her. She is a convicted criminal. Karen is a victim. I choose not to engage in further repartee about the former, out of respect. I'm happy to do it in the right place; this just isn't it. Sorry.

I was simply pointing out what means Channel 9 will go to to sensationalize a story to win ratings...

Channel 9 have made fools of themselves in the past with ACA and 60 Minutes stories and they certainly made fools of themselves again with the Corby case...MOO

It is also possible that Borce did this all by himself … an adrenaline-fuelled person can achieve a lot more than the average person.
Then Vasko has spent his time - since that day - worrying and fretting (and checking) in case little bro Borce has screwed up and left some traces behind.

Either way, they can both worry a lot now. They now know that police have …

-CCTV at all of the crucial times
-Phone pings at relevant times
-Evidence from around the burned-out building
-Forensic evidence from Karen’s remains and disposal site
-Forensic evidence from Karen’s car
-Forensic evidence from the shovel
-Evidence from Uber of Borce’s availability/non-availability
-Witness statements regarding Karen’s last contact (with anyone else)
-Evidence of the whereabouts of all family members on and around the time of Karen’s disappearance
-Evidence of the whereabouts of almost every other Merc like Karen’s on that day
- Unusual, relevant Google searches on a family iPad
-Potential witnesses regarding persons seen around Karen’s disposal site
-Potential blood evidence (google searches)
-Potential GPS ‘ghost’ or real data
-Potential financial motive
-Potential ‘wife is going to leave him now Sarah is 21’ motive
-The unusual stance of close family clamming up and not assisting police

And that is what we know about. Can you imagine all the evidence we don’t know about?

Victoria Police Missing Persons Squad chief Tim Day yesterday ..... “I’m not going to give a running commentary on the investigation."
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/po...k=b8d027a94416eeee17ca762928cfca51-1497660771

Nice summation thank you. Could I also add evidence he lied to police about his whereabouts on the day she went missing and his mobile was turned off during a critical period.

I agree also that it is possible he did it on his own. One of the reasons I think this is because LE don't seem to have gone after any of the other players very hard, or not that we know of anyway. I think it's entirely possible the family know even if they didn't participate, so police may be watching them and hoping somebody does something incriminating eg visiting the disposal site.

All my theories, which I'm hoping to have closure on very soon. Borcey-boy pack your toothbrush. I hear they make a lovely shiv, which you may need where you're going!

I have wondered a long time if there was fight between mother and daughter, mum gets pushed falls down stairs everyone panics, so a cover up happens, as a mother I would protect my childern, would take the fall for them also.

I've entertained that scenario also. Stranger things have happened. JMO

A toothbrush and a really really big bag.
The orange jumpsuit takes getting used to.

What would be the reason behind one piece jumpsuits?
oh, yes, it's to cover your back. :D It's a shame you can't wear them in the shower.

The 21-year-old daughter has chosen to remain silent since starting to conduct her own search.........

Sarah Ristevski, 21, got in contact with the Missing Persons Advocacy Network around six days after her mother was last seen leaving her Avondale Heights home in Melbourne's north-west on June 29 after having a heated argument with her husband Borce over finances.

Due to the network being a separate entity it works privately in offering assistance to those with missing loved ones and thus avoids aiding cases that are being investigated by police.

30th June - Karen reported missing....by who?
1st July -
2nd - Borce and Sarah did appeal. Aunt Patricia present albeit in the background.
Reported to be Borces first interview with the police. The one when he said he was home all day.
3rd -
4th July - Day six.
Sarah did radio appeal I think it was the 4th.
Reported to have contacted the missing persons Advocate network around day six.

8th July - "Did you kill your wife Borce." We all remember Sarah's reaction.

imo

I am guessing that Sarah has zipped her lips very early. Preferring to send texts and do google searches.

Yes I remember that soso. Can you remember who it was that said it? TIA.

Obviously I am not soso (but I am a big admirer of soso :D )

I always had the impression that it was someone from the shop(s) that revealed that little detail. I don't believe the articles ever referred to anyone specific making that statement, but the info was buried among other info directly about the shops.

BBM
Sarah, who worked at Bella Bleu, Ms Ristevski’s struggling Broadmeadows clothing boutique, has also been dogged by rumours that she and her mother were not getting on in the weeks before she went missing. News.com.au is not suggesting Sarah has anything to do with her mother’s disappearance.

Bella Bleu closed in February last year and caveats had been placed on the Ristevski’s Avondale Height’s home by lenders after Mr Ristevski resorted to borrowing cash from a notorious Melbourne loan shark on at least two occasions.

Interesting how many of us perceived he was talking to Sarah at that point. I did too. Perhaps she was really angry with her mum at that time too. I remember reading they weren't getting on also. A year has passed now though, without her mum. Time to get it all off her chest and honour her mum.

Mr Ristevski’s son from a previous relationship, Anthony Rickard, and his nephew Chris Ristevski have both tried to sell their stories.

http://www.news.com.au/national/vic...s/news-story/2bbe3c1ab602e2e9948986048d337aad

Well, well did CR really get paid for his story or just try and sell it?
What story? The one about AR who was using ice when he was knocking around with him.
Well I guess he did confirm that AR had only rung Karen 10 days before to ask that she finance his rehab.

I am still trying to determine exactly what CR's story was.

I think it all could be a part of this. Don't you?

Anthony Rickard ...... But police soon established he was considered a red herring.

A red herring is something that misleads or distracts from a relevant or important issue.

Maybe they're helping her move :shame:

Well, she won't be using money from her Go Fund Me account for that, or much anything else. I just checked up on the account progress. It has not moved from the $500 that it has contained for a while now.
