I think if BR had made or received a call while in Mt Macedon, his phone would have pinged there (and it didn't. Unless he had another phone.)

I just saw BR doing the pre-dawn escape this morning with the female Reporter chasing him. He appears to be wearing a high-visibilty outfit so wonder what he is doing for work now? Might be going away for an extended Holiday soon!

Remember Paul Onions? The Pommy backpacker that Ivan Milat pulled a gun on? He ran for his life, a woman who witnessed it and drove him TO THE POLICE STATION. There were two independent witnesses to the incident!!
IIRC he made another call to the Aus. police from O/S to tell them "That's him"! again he was fobbed off.
IIRC it was years before the police put 2+2 together.

Dont get me wrong I love love our cops but sometimes it appears to be the lack of communications between Crimestoppers to our cops.

How many times do the police ask for information from the public and then we see crucial information surface months/years later? Daniel Morcombe comes to mind.

American police bring in a guru on cold cases and always finds overlooked critical information tucked away in the archives. (A cold case show I saw on Netflix)

Yes TGY...It explains why the Morcombes started "their own search" for Daniel, doesn't it!

My opinion is BR killed her by accident, maybe out of rage, I don't think it was pre meditated. He then took her some place other than where she was found. Then I think he moved her and VR was involved then imo. I don't think SR had any involvement. I think she would be feeling very stressed and prob knows deep down her dad is involved..

These ppl get so greedy that making money becomes their life. Showing off for what? What a waste.

Just watched ACA - Martin King said a fresh key witness who said he saw a black merc on the same day Karen disappeared.

Charlie Bezzina is jubilant about it and thinks there will be a knock on someones door very soon. They are ALL persons of interest according to Charlie.

Lovely tribute from Karen's friends forwarded to ACA.

Could be an accident but he didn't call 000. (like Baden-Clay)

I'm sure his silks are conniving a plan to say Karen lunged at him with a knife at the top of the stairs and sweet precious had to defend himself. :tantrum:

My opinion is BR killed Karen at home.
It wasn't meticulously planned but it was no accident either.
It was end of financial year, a stressful time, there was the prospect of her leaving him and the possible promise of life insurance if he got away with it.
I think he killed her, put her in the boot of the Mercedes SLK and drove her body out to Mount Macedon where he placed her in that makeshift grave by himself.
I think he then disposed of her bag/phone/wallet somewhere around those early search areas (Gisborne, Toolern Vale).
I don't think anyone else is involved.
It is the most simple version of events but in my opinion the most likely.

We don't know what sort of stress/ anger precipitated by AR accusations etc. Could well be behind a loss of temper leading to DV
