I'm not sure if that previous post was a dig at me.
Sorry guys. I won't post anymore.

Oh no Rosie84, the post about Ant at Bunnings is a very interesting offshoot, it was discovered on his FB page early in the saga, completely interesting and highly suspicious at the time[emoji848] ..... Keep posting Rosie 84 [emoji847]

He initially told police he didn’t leave the family home on the morning she disappeared. But in a second statement, he said he had forgotten that he drove Karen Ristevski’s car at 10.30am, about a half-hour after he says she left home.

Intentional deception for whatever reason....yeah!
He was home all day and bingo when he did finally remember (with some prompting) that he had taken a run in the Merc, he was able to remember the time he did ........... amazing.
He was then able to remember that he *forgot* to turn into the service station and to exit to the family store.
He also remembered he was home by 12.....Just wow for someone so forgetful.

imo

and I reckon, thanks to that Freudian slip of Borce's , it about pinpoints Karen's time of death.. that morning around 9.30 -10 am.

it would have taken him perhaps 20 minutes to clean himself up, try and collect his thoughts, pick up what he thought Karen might take , if she was going for a clearing of the head walk, sort out an itinerary, plan a route, decide on a burial place, scrabble thru her handbag, stuff the $850 down his trousers, check her phone , check his, take a chance on the neighbors being inside, grab his keys and hers, comb his hair, tie his shoelaces, wrangle the body into the boot of that car , check the street again, ignore the phone, both hers and his, check if the mailman was on his way, try and bring his blood pressure down, wash his face again, comb his hair again , straighten his pants, brush off his shirt, and ...... begin the journey.

And adjust his glasses ..... haha

That was the day after his dated CD of his police interview wasn't it sleep?

Yes Soso, the CD is dated 15th. IIRC that interview was for something different and not to do with Karen.

Rosie ! If you meant me, no I wasn't having a dig at you. It can't be discussed here but Borce has a son with the nickname 'Ant'.
My question wasn't anything to do with your post. Sincere apologies if it came across that way :(

Thanks guys.
When I read 'an ant checking into bunnings' made me think I might be asking some stupid questions.

The reason why I asked about the iPad, would be interested to know where on the timeline that fits. Whether it was before or after Karen was reported missing.
Just thinking about the pings, the phone being off, the hours BR is unaccountable for, what time the CCTV footage of the car has been captured, When Sarah states she saw her mother last...

Edit: was the minutes that BR said he can't account for the same time the car on CCTV was captured?

These questions are something that we would all like to know Rosie. They are not stupid :)

Missing Melbourne mum stepson twist: Family conflict revealed in Karen Ristevski mystery
ANDREA HAMBLIN, Herald Sun
July 22, 2016 10:00pm

Mr Rickard, himself a father of two, came to the attention of missing persons detectives after being interviewed at Sunshine police station last week over an unrelated matter.
“They asked if my dad had been up this way, if he knows anyone up this way, does he have (other) properties,” Mr Rickard said of a subsequent meeting with detectives at his Diggers Rest home.

is there any reason to believe that Borce has only one phone?... I believe Karen's phone made the journey up to at least close to Macedon with her...... it would be odd if Borce used Karen's phone for the same reason he wouldn't use his own, but maybe it shouldn't be assumed that he only had one phone..

After all, if Vlasko knew all about getting false passports and how easy that is, , a spare phone would be something he could produce drunk in a thunderstorm.. childs play.

Seems that once Boris was caught out in his shut down interview. He was sorta willing to place himself somewhere near Diggers but not quite that far up the Calder.

Which is why I am thinking that is when he turned his phone off.

IMO he's turned his off and forgot about Karens, until it started ringing when the shop was looking for her.

It's crossed my mind too that he had a second phone - but who is he calling on it? VR? If VR had a second phone as well that they both hid from police then maybe they could have communicated undetected... although im sure police have combed through both their known phones and if they never call each other on them, then that fact itself might put police onto a second phone.

I actually dont think any of this has been planned carefully enough that br could make an undetected call out to anyone on the day. He couldn't even figure out to turn off his first phone before he started driving towards where his wife was going to be found

Sarah, clutching a photograph of her mum, had been too upset to say anything. But something made her change her mind.
“I just want my mum to come home,” she said. “It’s not like her to miss work as well. It’s not like her.”

The thing is that Boris said Karen went for a walk to clear her head at 10:00am
If she was due at work any time before or in the period following her little walk. She would have phoned the store she owned and managed and said I will be late, I am not coming in today .....
Borce never mentioned Karen and her expected time to be at the store. He never said she was even due to be at work.

Sarah picked up on that I feel ... to upset to speak and *something* made her change her mind......she was due at work Dad!!
imo

Significant changes appeared within the Ristevski family dynamics in February and March 2016;-

1...Borce becoming Sole Director of Bella Bleu
2...One Bella Bleu shop closed
3...Sarah's 21st birthday (with talk of Karen planning to leave Borce?)
4...Recent release of the video with Borce in SE Asia supposedly there purchasing stock for Bella Bleu (when we were led to believe that it was Karen who went overseas on the buying trips)
5...Borce making the statement about a suitable place to hide a body in that same video (premeditation)

Now about the subject of the $850 cash in Karen's bag;-

After Borce became the Sole Director of the remaining Bella Bleu shop in February, I'm wondering if Karen had started keeping some cash aside from the daily takings for her plan to leave Borce now that Sarah had turned 21 in February...

Borce found out about the cash being kept aside by Karen and that was the start of the argument among other things such as having a sale and marking down prices etc...and everything went downhill from there...

At the end of the day, Bella Bleu shops WERE Karen's and she had every right to hold money aside for her exit from the marriage if she so desired...MOO
