That is why bankruptcy was invented. So people could stop suiciding over financial downfall and things could be wrapped up in the fairest way possible ... for everyone.
An Indian woman went missing from her unit at Westmead, searchers and police could not find her for several days. (Of course we all suspected her brother). Behind the large unit complex there was a small creek which was usually dry but was swollen due to recent rain. When the creek subsided the woman was found hanging by her large scarf from a branch.
The police concluded it was suicide.
Simple. It happens.
It could be possible life's problems overwhelmed Karen and she took a rope in her handbag, turned off her phone and found a tree branch and bid the world goodnight.
Sad but possible considering the heated argument, debts, the SS and her considering 'leaving'.
If this is the case she could be hard to see being dressed in black.
Just some thoughts here.
Can anyone tell me if the water police were using side sonar equipment on the first search of the river ..... think it was around the 14th.
I've looked through google images of media articles but can only see the singular police water boat going back and fourth...
no dredging or divers or any side attachment equipment .......
Can someone please correct me if I'm wrong ......
I've suggested she didn't leave that house of her own free will.
I don't believe she suicided either.
Just putting 3 shovels in the corner and telling you to take a pick.
Divers were used, not so sure about sonar.
Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Rhodes, who heads the missing persons unit, was on site as two police divers suited up to search the river bed for weapons or other items linked to the 47-year-old's disappearance.

Thanks Sleep ....... that was the second search following the tip off ..... I was wondering do you know about the first search closer to her house ... did they use sonar then and divers in that search too ?

It's good though, at least something is now being done. They are saying that this one has been started by family, which IMO should have been done much earlier.
If this 2nd FB page titled "Where is Karen" was started by family which im 100% sure its not and have a pretty good idea who has, wouldn't they have included some of their own photos of Karen, rather that just re-use the medias photos. None of the posts have any heart felt messages either, just news reports. No insider information to which might assist to help us all find Karen. Someone also asked when was the last time someone apart from her husband saw her. If they were Karens family or friend, surely they would have a better idea than a websleuther.

There's a few good boat photos in this article that might help you.

From what I know from having a husband that was a boat fanatic {{sigh}} the round thing on the top of the boat in this pic is Sonar - in the cab of the boat there would be a screen that they could watch for any abnormal sightings.
I also can't imagine a Police Boat not being fitted with Sonar and Sounder etc etc.
