Always to be cautious i concur.

Though it wont stop us seeking the truth.

Caution; yes. Stop? Of course not but a winner always keeps his cards close to his chest and doesn't show his hand.

Did somebody book an Uber? You might be picked up in a Grey Vw tiguan, driver by the name or BR.

Was looking through my husbands past uber rides (trying to see how the app works) and looky looky who appeared. I asked him about BR, said he was a really nice guy, had been doing it for about 8 months and enjoyed it. This was from december 2015.

I understand but I think he's playing mind games (or thinks he is). If he's responsible for or has conspired to murder Karen, and thinks he's too smart for investigators, he's got another thing coming.

I completely agree, Bohemian - he loves his newfound attention and is baiting everyone who's taking notice (well, that's what I think anyway).

It's a shame he can't put all of this spare time he has (to create these posts) into getting off the drugs and living a clean, happy and healthy life.

Looks like I missed some drama. Saturday night is comedy night on ABC2. It seems you guys had a few laughs as well.

In all seriousness, some family members are not to be trifled with IMO. Not after the (albeit tenuous) connections I've discovered as a result of cursory research. Please keep yourselves safe.

yes especially those fancy damascus hunting knives, must be popular in some circles

I thank you tiddles for acknowledging my hinky meter.
I had a very uncomfortable sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach.

In a dreamworld, wouldn't it be wonderful if Karen was in fear for her life and went into hiding due to all the business shenanigans and then contacted the police and she is in police protection while they pin the culprits.

Either way that's what they are doing now. Delving, planning then kaboom.

Ah one can dream sometimes but this can be the crazy side of sleuthing.

wow that is interesting! why would he need to do Uber driving, did he need extra money or was he trying to get out of the house...

Good heavens! Excellent sleuthing, Sayswho. Six degrees of separation, h'mm, there really is something to that Kevin Bacon thingo.
Do Uber drivers have access to different cars or just the one?

There was a thread on Reddit about Uber driving in Melbourne, where a poster said he does it, and earns quite a paltry amount after expenses. Unless you really got a kick out of meeting new people and driving, why would you bother?

Part of me wonders if BR is the sort of person who wants to do his own thing so he doesn't have to report to anyone or mix with everyday people in a boring job; but another part thinks he just chases whatever he thinks is going to bring in the big bucks (which, if he investigated thoroughly, he'd find Uber doesn't do).

Maybe he should've set up a formal menswear shop right next door to Bella Bleu and run that? Having two businesses catering to the same market could be quite successful if done right. Maybe this, maybe that, a lot of maybes.

Edited to include link for those who wish to read it (https://www.reddit.com/r/melbourne/comments/3oj2wv/uber_drivers_of_melboure_is_it_worth_it/), and remove the reference to $130/day (I must have dreamt that bit up!).

Q. How do you create a small business?

A. Put BR into a large business then sit back and wait.
:drumroll:

Gee imagine if GBC and the R'S united in business - what a catastrophe !!!

Too true.
