I wonder if she is a relative on Borce's side.

That was my initial thought about being a relative. She was quite tall almost amazonian. Silly me I should have tried something on and engaged in conversation (maybe next weekend). She didn't give the impression of wanting to be there.

emirates1957........If you visit Karen's store again, could you please take a note of some of the "DESIGNER LABELS' and let me know.........Having worked in the rag trade and having had my own retail outlet in the past, I will try and find some selling prices for them (just to see how expensive they really are)..........We need to remember also that it was stated in MSM, that one of Karen's staff mentioned that Karen also designed some of the clothes herself, of which BR was very supportive of her efforts.:tyou:.

Lol.....ok Im going to sorta out myself here a bit...

I went to Penleigh and Essendon Grammer....

My parents, both of them worked 2 jobs to put me through school. Worked 9 -5 weekdays.... and worked for spotless I think selling hotdogs a the footy on weekends....

my sister and I were latch key kids, because of their efforts to support us.

Some of my friends parents were in the same situation and didn't have time to gloat about anything because they were too busy working to pay fees ( reminder to self to ring mum and dad and say a huge thankyou).

Having said that alot of my friends were extremely fortunate (or were they) There parents were well off and I saw them as having no real "adult" issues of finding jobs...... as they could simply move into Mum or Dads businesses.

ARs about me confuses me.... his school may have changed names. ....did he go to St Bernads?

ETA: nevermind I found it.....he went to the Niddrie college...across the hwy... found it.

Same puggle I also went to PEGS only for 3 years. My parents were working class, mum even took on factory work to help pay the fees.

That's very sad to hear. Bad staff can be the downfall of a business.

I don't like hovering sales staff but it's nice to have recognition you are there and they are happy to help if I need assistance.

AR's recent failed relationship also would certainly have added more fuel to the fire, making his bizarre behaviour even worse......maybe the only support in recent times was from his ex partner......I am surprised that he hasn't already been admitted to rehab for his ice addiction and mental health disorders (scary)......He is a danger to himself and society..:scared::sick:.

I think that AR is still working for hospitality group. Didnt you see the cheque pay on his wall? The people on ice can hold their jobs to support their addiction, the problem starts when they can't support addiction anymore then they start to suffer and become dangerous for community.

I am sorry Makara I love your posts but I didn't read all rules here. English is my second language as you all can probably guess but I am genuinely interested in this case because I come from similar culture like Boris and also I live nearby AH an as well often take walks around the river.

It's ok zinaje. I realise you're new here and it does take a while to get to know all of the rules. Your english is very good and we value your contribution here.

You may be able to tell us more about what the general feeling is among the locals in the Avondale Heights area in regard to Karen's disappearance? Are people still reluctant to walk along the river?

I can't stand a defeatist attitude ..... I have respect for Charlie.... but.... he is just a person like the rest of us.

Not sure if this will give any insight to anyone.... but may provoke some thoughts..

Some google grabs of the area where Karen has gone missing from. I have played attention to her home in respect to the geography of the river.

Sorry for my amateur graphics.....I'm working on a very old computer atm... and have a portable fan directed at the big boxy thingo as the internal fan is apparently broken....

The one thing I hope is that people can see there is a very step decline at the back of their house to get onto the walking track.....it is not within view of surrounding houses or neighbours. Unless you were on the track at that time of day in that location...nobody would have seen anything....

A neighbour in their street would have had to been glued to their window and fixated on the Ristevski house and saw in that instance her walking out at that very exact moment. .......as it would be mere seconds before she would disappear in sight due to the landscape which pitches downwards..

I also noticed on Google Earth that there is an informal track from the laneway next to their house that goes down the embankment and shortcuts to the river.....a closeup on google earth shows this....that's included in the links. This area at the very bottom of the hill that joins with the official/real Trail is extremely isolated from all public view.

Not sure if it has any significance but sure it will make people think...and thinking is better than simply giving up...

29th Nov 2007 Womans Body found near Orford Road ....I couldn't find any other information?
Sept 2nd 2012 8 days after a man decided to try to swim to the other side of the river following a drink...Anglers Tavern...his body is found.
Wednesday 5th Feb, 2014 Rezene Mabratha Engada went missing his body surfaced later that week.
Brendan David Bernad. Murdered over drug debt at the end of January 2015...first body parts surfaced in first week of February, other parts surfaced March 22nd 2015, parts found near Boathouse Restaurant Moonee Ponds later parts found upstream near Anglers Tavern.

sheesh...and that's what I was able to find in a quick 20 minute search...... the Anglers Tavern seems cursed....more likely the depth of the river at that point....aybe like a catchment area??

Fishing forums....where people have been charged for laying nettings in that area of the river ......mesh nets...charged as they can endanger wildlife and catch up and drown ...platypus...etc.....

Wow...I see what you mean when you say Karen could have fallen into the river. If she stumbled on the upper track and tumbled over and over she would have built up speed, making it possible to end up in the Maribyrnong River.

Thanks Puggle. It does seem cursed. No wonder, with the history of the river and the area around the Angler's Tavern, including the illegal netting and Crimestoppers' tip, the police decided to conduct a water sarch there.
